  • @fernandamarquesarquiteta gave the double-height living room of a São Paulo duplex thick glass panels that reveal the swimming pool outside, accessed by a sleek staircase. Inside, the designer deployed a neutral palette, Michel sofas by B&B Italia and a massive painting by Brazilian artist Luiz Zerbini. We’d happily take a seat on the long wooden Hugo França bench! Wouldn’t you? Click the link in bio for more Brazilian design from São Paulo Design Weekend. Photo by Filippo Bamberghi

  • For an artist client in San Antonio, Texas, @collecteddesignstudio created a kitchen that is both whimsical and sophisticated. Unlacquered brass accents, minimalist cabinetry and pops of color combine for a lively, inviting feel that will no doubt spark creativity. Link in bio to shop the look. Photo by Michael Hunter

  • Glitz may define Chicago’s Gold Coast, but in this Lake Shore Drive home, @brucefoxdesign went for a cool, pared-down look. Shaking up the serenity of the pale color palette are bold artworks, including a colorful Jasper Johns series and a black-and-white Brice Marden piece. The sitting room boasts an iconic Arne Jacobsen Egg, but we’re just as captivated by the antique Ashanti stool in the master bedroom. Link in bio to shop the look. Photo by Hendrich Blessing

  • From the Milo Baughman dining chairs to the 1950s Italian crystal chandelier, @nateberkus definitely has midcentury style on his mind in this Los Angeles dining room. Wanting to bring the famous look into the present, he added a custom bronze table and a sizable art collection. Plus, a gallery wall is always the move! Photo by Roger Davies

  • In a contemporary farmhouse in Pawling, @changoandco used a neutral palette, effortlessly weaving in punches of red. The result is a warm and slightly aged feel, which is carried forward with the three vintage paddles over the console. The enormous, 14-person table is the perfect finishing touch that ties the rustic yet contemporary space together. • @dirtdesign founder Scott Murphy’s Shelter Island home was built in the early 20th century as a boat house. So, Murphy went for a nautical look with Scandinavian flare, adding a vaulted wall and oak beams plus black woven bamboo blinds that dim the sunshine pouring in. The furnishings are a mix of vintage — a Chinese chest of drawers, a dress form, black pendants — and new, including the table in the industrial-style dining room, which he made from a 1940s cafeteria table that used to live in the Singer Factory. Another design highlight: the Charlotte Perriand wall sconce and chairs. Photo by Lucas Lai

  • This chic dining room by @dkda proves that Palm Beach design goes far beyond the typical coastal look. The romantic neutral palette sets off the Anthony Lawrence Belfair custom-dyed leather dining chairs and bold Cleve Gray painting. The ceiling is paneled in pecky cypress that’s been bleached and whitewashed. Photo by Tria Giovan

  • There are more than a few notable residences in London, but this one, which dates back to the 1840s, is next level. For the clients, a young family, @madduxcreative chose a warm, romantic palette and exceptional antiques. The formal sitting room is framed by bay windows that overlook the garden, and the walls are adorned in a special paint that mimics parchment. Head to the link in bio to explore more inspiring projects from the firm or watch our stories to see the designer’s #1stdibsGallery picks.

  • Brother and sister pooches Bismarck and Britannia share their Los Angeles loft with designer @toddyoggy, who splits his time between the East and West Coasts. The apartment is in the historic American Cement Building, whose industrial feel Yoggy played up with a moody palette and lots of dramatic art. Display space is limited, though, so he hung his collection of black-and-white photography, amassed over 25 years, like wallpaper. Tap the link in bio to shop the look. Photo by Eric Schwabel

  • In a Los Angeles master bathroom, @jeffandrewsdsgn combined the ultra-masculine with the super- glamorous. Working in a black, white and gray palette — including two David Rodgers photos hung on the wall — and adding brass accents for drama, the designer created a look he calls classic yet modern, and we have to agree. Our favorite design moment, though, is the vintage chandelier from Pegaso Gallery, which serves up Old Hollywood vibes that truly elevate the space. Click the link in the bio to explore the home.
