Hello August! Hello fun! Time to stop being so serious about everything, let go of the 'must s', and go out and have fun. Allow yourself to be silly, to run around with your friends at the beach, play with water pistols, laugh a lot, hug a lot, share precious life moments with your loved ones, tell them how much you love them. Life is beautiful, and the beauty is 'hidden' in the 'little things'. Somehow during winter we get lost in the rash of life making us forget just how beautiful life is and just how simple it is to enjoy it. Go spread laughter, go spread love, enjoy yourself!

Do you have a clear picture of what you would like your life to be like? Are you living the life of your dreams? We often get lost in the flow of life, racing around to get things done with a stressful urgency, to get more, to do more. Take some time to reflect and contemplate;
what would it take for your life to be magnificent? Be very specific about it. Is it about more money? How much more? Is it about having more time for exercising? How long would that be? The only way to shift yourself from a lost, unhappy, racing day-to-day existence into an empowered, happy person leading a meaningful life, is to know exactly what it is you are after every day, every week and every month. Clear targets allows you to make conscious decisions, priorities and know when you are being effective. It takes away the feeling of being lost, being at the mercy of whatever the day brings, and gives you the power to decide where you will lead your day to take you. Those living magnificent life's aren't doing so by accident or through luck!

Obstacles are just part of the process, that's why one of the key skills employers need today is problem solving. The ability to stop, analyse, re-evaluate, MODIFY your plan AND CONTINUE. This comes with the attribute of perseverance, a habitual attribute which you can develop and nurture. And by doing so, you are teaching by example, even if that's your intention or not!

You can wake up each day and go with the flow of the day, hoping to have a good day OR you can wake up each day with a set plan of what you will make happen during the day! Break down your day into 3 - 6 parts, and create a plan of action with specific goals and outcomes for each section of the day. Use your time targeted and effectively, to make things happen without creating much 'grey time-easte' - that's when you are 'busy' doing a lot without creating anything specific at the end of it. Take control of your life, make things happen! And then go teach that!

Did you know that you can raise the standards of your people's work and their self expectations through authentic- honest compliments? If a member of your team has worked in an thorough way producing a report which is accurate , concise and inclusive, you can tell them so, either in front of others or even in private. Be specific with your feedback, no 'good job' or 'high quality work' kind of feedback. And phrase it in a way to give the message that this is part of the person's character, i.e. John's reports are excellent: they are accurate , concise and inclusive. This of course does not mean you expect no wrong doing from the person in the future, but authentic, specific feedback and complements will always produce a positive ripple effect! 🌟

Even if you choose it, like it or not, you are at all times a role model to those around you. Your life perception and behaviour leave an imprint on those around you. So you might as well CHOOSE THE TYPE OF ROLE MODEL you want be. Do you want to be the angry, miserable, negative, problem-to-all-situations kind of person? Or do you want to be the unstoppable, upbeat, kind, goal setting-making it happen person? What is one of your best traits as a person you could be passing on through example? What is the gift you will be leaving each person you come in contact with? What is the gift you will be making to yourself by choosing to look at the day through this lens? You get to choose that!

You can always get the ‘job done’ by placing strict rules, punishments or use the so called ‘carrot and stick approach; attaining the minimum achievement required while demotivating and breaking the spirit of your staff/ students/ children. HUMAN SPIRIT IS AS SENSITIVE AS IT IS STRONG, AND HAS A STRONG, INVOLUNTARILY RESPONSE TO KINDNESS. The human spirit is also innately creative, energising and expanding with every new learning and problem solving experience. Everyone enjoys and likes the feeling of growth, learning and achieving. As long as this is not overshadowed by fear and insecurity driven by external pressure. This is the difference between positive and negative reinforcement.

Life is just too beautiful to block out in your pursue of excellence, at work; at school; at your business. Humans are equally beautiful and awesome; which means so are you! So you can pursue excellence, and still take time and marvel the beauty of the Rose, the smell of the rain, the colors of the sunset, the smile of your loved ones..! Go live, and make sure you teach by example!

Be a facilitator of learning, and stand back to marvel at the amazing human potential! True learning I.e. the ability to implement new knowledge in a supportive and positive environment, ignites creativity; allowing for individuality to take over and unfold a new, never before seen, aspect of your team members, new even to themselves! ✨

Never fall in the trap of gossiping about others; not at work, not at home, not with your friends. This is a distractive habit, that’s why gossiping is also called ‘trashing’. You are ‘trashing’ another person to make yourself and your friends feel better. When in the role of a mentor, YOU CAN NOT BE A #transformational#leader, AND BE THE KIND OF PERSON WHO DRAWS ENJOYMENT IN TRASHING PEOPLE. Your true mindset can not be switching between the two, it can only be set in one direction; either to build people up, or to ‘trash’ them

Have you ever had an experience of talking to someone for a short moment and were left feeling energised and excited even though the conversation was about something mundane? Now imagine having THAT effect on a daily basis with your team members, your family, the people who serve you in various ways during your day. All it takes is a few minutes of sincere, authentic connection, through a lens of kindness and positivity. A moment to really 'see' and listen another with NO JUDGMENT. A practice which ones you master it, will bring back to you as much, if not more, as you offer. You know, just like karma! 😉

Success in teaching requires challenge! We humans, have an innate ability of problem solving; this is what got us from stone age to today's amazing technological world!
Simple doesn't mean easy! Simple refers to the wording and delivery of the content, while easy (or it's opposite, forming a challenge) refers to the level of learning.
Think of the feeling you experience, when you finally manage to achieve or solve a task or problem you have been working on for a week! It brings excitement, joy, confidence, it energizes you! It drives you to seek more posirive excitement of that level. Now think of solving a problem or task in a couple of minutes. You experience the same range of emotions, only they last for a second or two, and usually fade out on the spot.

Speaking and listening are key skills which when joined together can have great POSITIVE IMPACT! We all have someone looking up to us; as leaders, managers, parents, teachers, friends; our words impact someone. This positron of POWER comes with RESPONSIBILITY! In this case, responsibility in speaking with authenticuty, honesty and kindness, so as to inspire growth instead of pushing judgment and control, enforcing fear, shame or insecurity. Think of the impact you want to have, and work to make it happen!

Have i ever mentioned how much I LOVE WORKING WITH PEOPLE!? This is the message i received from one of my clients after a life coaching session! "Perfection is an illusion" i had said, and i got a message later adding to that "but balance is not..." Yes, my clients are this awesome 💫🌟💫 we find ourselves getting lost in trying to do everything and to do everything to the level of perfection we see others 'doing it' in social media. We are giving ourselves an impossible task and then talk down to ourselves for not being able to achieve that 24-7. Its time to STOP BULLYING OURSELVES, perfection is an illusion, its not real, its not something specific, particular or fixed. It's an idea formed by our perception, hence it differs from person to person. However, balance can be real, again, an individual concept, but a healthy and real one. Balance does not mean 50-50. It means feeding and nurturing the different multidimensional aspects of your being; the mind, the body, the child within, the professional, the lover, the friend, the artist and any part of your self which ignites your soul.

You have the power to change your reality, only BY TAKING ACTION. Gathering of information might feel good, but it's of no use if it is not applied; and often to be applied, means stepping beyond your comfort zone! 😉✨
