It’s a privilege to be able to move your body! Exercise is not meant to be a punishment. If this were the 1900s, we would be out working very physically demanding jobs all day... burning calories. And cooking our meals at home instead of eating all this very processed (what we call today) “food”. The human body is meant to move & be active. Tracking calories and taking progress photos are not toxic either! Self love sometimes mean restricting yourself & that’s called growth. Don’t let the HAES movement keep you stuck and sick. It’s insane how tribal we are as a society. It’s natural, but don’t stand behind something that doesn’t improve the quality of your life. Your unhealthy habits are taxing to health care, the economy, & your own health. Take responsibility for your lifestyle choices. It’s not easy. It takes work, effort & discipline, so you might as well start now.
