All hail the King! It’s easy to see why the Discus is considered the “King of Tropical Fish”. They command your attention in any aquarium. But my favorite thing about them is ALL the color varieties that have come from this incredible fish. Let me know your favorite color morph in the comments!!! 👇

We are currently in the high-water season here in the Amazon Jungle. This time of year means that every creek, river and tributary is navigable giving you access to rich and lush plant life. The Amazon is yours to discover with Delfin Amazon Cruises.
A huge reason why we're a Triple Bottom Line company -- meaning we determine our success by considering our impact on People, Planet and Purpose -- is because we believe in the power of positive change and a big part of that is because of the powerful work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ☮️ For us, that means sustainably wild-harvesting our Açai, having meaningful relationships with our farms, being organic, Fair Trade, vegan, kosher, and non-GMO. 💜 What seed are you planting today, for tomorrow?
Adventure on the Amazon...
Life is too short to stay put.
You MUST travel or you WILL miss out on LIFE.
I grew up all over the United States.
With my dad serving in the Navy, it meant we moved a lot and I was always the new kid.
Though that made me feel like a bit of an outsider most of the time, it also exposed me to a lot of things that most people take for granted.
So many end up living in the same place all their life and never enjoy all the differences our great country has to offer in all of our cities and states. And even fewer people travel outside the country to see 1) the amazing sites there are to enjoy and 2) to appreciate what we really have.
This adventure I went with my good friend Angus Pollard to head out to the Amazon (not the online one haha) and go after Peacock Bass.
Our guides took our small party of 8 through the remote tributaries of the Amazon river and we caught tons of Peacock Bass, Piranha and more! The heat was about 110-115 every day and pretty much 100% humidity all the time.
As you can see we had to be protected and covered head to toe to not get fried by the sun and we’d pull our hat off while we were moving to cool off a bit in the wind and we’d also dunk our neck and face covers in the water to help.
We each probably drank 2 gallons of water a day just to keep up. And it was soooo worth it. The things we saw in the Amazon, the guides who took us out by private float plane to get to this remote area, and the people we met in town.....all beyond words.
No matter where you live in the world, if you are reading this I highly recommend you find ways to travel and explore and get to see more of LIFE!
It could be just the next city over....if you live in a city visit a rural area....if you live rural visit a big city.....if you live in the US go somewhere outside of it every once in a while.
The point is that not only will you get to see more of life....you will discover things and get a different perspective on business and personal relationships. These lessons can’t be learned in a book. They have to be experienced.
