I love when (insert a heavy dose of sarcasm here) a big outdoor brand posts an article or stance on bills or new legislation that affects public lands and the outdoors, and all of a sudden you get these people saying, “ugggh, just stick to clothes and stay out of politics.” First, it’s sad that protection of public lands and sacred spaces are political, but also, if an outdoor brand isn’t fighting to protect the outdoors, then what the hell do you want them to do? If anything, I’d be more skeptical of a company that isn’t invested in the current information regarding their industry and how they can be involved to be in line with their mission statements. Anyways, pay no mind to me. Just ramblings on a Friday night while I sit in the bathtub with a beer while listening to some Jason Isbell and Gregory Alan Isakov. Happy Friday 🎉
