  • @thefinerthingsbakery is an awful “business”. The owner, Amanda, made disgusting transphobic comments on a public news post. When someone left a review about it on her Facebook business page she tried to claim that she never wrote the comment and that the business must have been magically hacked 😂. Then, admitted via DM that she did make the comment and apparently deleted the entire business page on Facebook when people heard about it. So, if you live in Utah: head’s up. Don’t buy from this business unless you like your baked goods made with hate. @thefinerthingsbakery is an awful “business”. • Reposted from @sirpennypacker - 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️😐 #wow #sad #wheresthelie #thisisamerica #stablegenius #anyonebuttrump #vote — USA TODAY | We see signs that the Trump’s abilities are declining, but the only way to find out for sure is to give him a full neuropsychological evaluation.
-
If #DonaldTrump were your father, you would run, not walk, to a neurologist for an evaluation of his cognitive health. You don’t have to be a doctor to see something is very wrong.
-
Joe Scarborough, who has known Trump for years, said in 2017 that Trump's mental confusion reminded him of his mother, who had Alzheimer's for 10 years.
-
“It's getting worse, and not a single person who works for him doesn’t know he has early signs of dementia,” he said of #Trump last year.
-
To #mentalhealth professionals like me, the red flags are waving wildly. In January 2018, over 70 of us wrote a letter to the president’s physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, urging him to administer a cognitive exam during trump’s physical because we had seen a marked deterioration in his verbal functioning, possibly due to cognitive decline.
-
In fact, Dr. Jackson did administer the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a screening tool for dementia, and Trump passed. But while Trump bragged that this proved his superior intelligence, this 10-minute screening test, where one must identify a camel, draw a clock and repeat three numbers backwards, only ruled out full-blown dementia.
-
We argued in a subsequent op-ed that these findings did not rule out the early stages of dementia. We also predicted that if this was organic cognitive decline, it would continue to get worse. And since that op-ed, more than a year ago, it has gotten worse.
-
Americans have a right, indeed an urgent need, to know whether he is suffering from dementia.
-
We see clear signs that he is, but the only way to find out for sure is to give him a full neuropsychological evaluation and share the results with the American public. The need is more screamingly obvious now than it was a when we first called for it over a year ago.

  • 🤦🏻‍♂️🔊 #itsreal #wow #honor #respect #vote #anyonebuttrump #disgusting — September 11th is the most solemn day on the U.S. calendar. The terrorist attacks that left nearly 3,000 people dead 18 years ago are still fresh in the minds of many, and no occasion calls for a greater show of reverence and respect, especially from the nation’s commander-in-chief.
-
#DonaldTrump commemorated the fallen Wednesday by tweeting a picture of himself and Melania.
-
He quickly moved on to bashing recent ABC/WaPost 2020 polling by showing his popularity floundering among several key demographics, and trailing most of the leading Dem candidates in head-to-head matchups.
-
Trump’s relationship with 9/11 has always been curious, if not outright disrespectful. As is the case with Trump’s relationship to just about anything, he hasn’t been able to resist making it about himself whenever possible.
-
In 2015 when he falsely claimed that he watched “thousands and thousands of people” on rooftops in New Jersey “cheering as that building was coming down.”
-
#Trump’s bizarre relationship with 9/11 predates his presidential run, of course. While speaking before Congress in 2005, he defended the use of asbestos in building materials by claiming that if the World Trade Center had been constructed using the toxic substance, they’d still be standing.
-
The most telling example of Trump’s understanding of 9/11, of his total lack of empathy and of his pathological self-centeredness came the morning of the attack. While on the phone with NJ’s WWOR, he was asked whether his building at 40 Wall Street has sustained any damaged as a result of the attacks.
-
He proceeded to brag about how now that the WTC had fallen, he owned the tallest building in downtown Manhattan. “40 Wall Street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan,” Trump said.
-
Trump’s 40 Wall Street sustained no damage from the attacks. This didn’t stop him from applying for and accepting federal recovery money after it was made available for the area’s small businesses, efforts lobbied by then-Senator #HillaryClinton.

  • ✔️✔️✔️🔊 #howitsdone #honor #respect #vote #anyonebuttrump #disgusting — #DonaldTrump talking about 9/11 is a lot like Trump talking about anything else—he can’t remember most of it, he lies about what he does remember, and he makes his own role in events seem 10,000 larger than it was. But for this special day, Trump did produce a few special moments.
-
First there was the point where Trump threatened to attack terrorists with something worse than nuclear weapons. “If for any reason they come back to our country, we will go wherever they are and use power the likes of which the U.S. has never used before. And I'm not even talking about nuclear power. They will have never seen anything like what will happen to them."
-
What is Trump talking about here? Weaponized Ebola? An annual subscription to Trump Magazine? The worst thing imaginable is if someone let slip to Trump that the United States is actually in possession of some kind of doomsday weapon—a black hole generator with a side of salt-encrusted razor blades. Because if there is anything like that, it’s certain to be the only thing Trump thinks about. All the time.
-
And then there was the part where #Trump once again claimed he was looking out his Midtown window and saw the second plane collide with the Towers, an act that would not only require perfect timing, but Superman-style X-ray vision.
-
But mostly Trump’s 9/11 speech was memorable for how terrible it was. Terrible not in the sense of threatening people with worse-than-nuclear bombs, but in the sense that it was trite, uninspiring, and mostly appeared to be a mishmash of faux patriotic phrases reassembled in the least engaging manner possible. It wasn’t so much written to put people asleep, it appeared to have been written by someone who already was asleep.
-
Meanwhile in Hong Kong, activists paused their protests Wednesday in remembrance of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
-
“In solidarity against terrorism, all forms of protest in Hong Kong will be suspended on Sept. 11, apart from potential singing and chanting,” they said in a statement.

  • #Arizona CORRUPT #SenatorMarthaMcSally is a #rightwing #bigot who has #voted with #DonaldTrump more than 96% of the time.
She's voted for all 27 #antichoice #Trump #judicialnominees this year — including #MatthewKacsmaryk, who called being #transgender “a delusion,” and #WendyVitter, who is so out of touch with reality that she's endorsed the false claim that #abortion causes #cancer.2,3,4,5

The most infuriating thing about Martha McSally, though?

The voters of Arizona didn't even want her in the Senate to begin with.

McSally ran for Senate in 2018 and lost — but she was appointed to the Senate anyway by the state's #Republican governor after the retirement of the state's other senator.6

This is one of the key races that could cost #MitchMcConnell #MoscowlMitch control of the Senate. It's essential that we flip this seat. That's why we're expanding our team on the ground in Arizona, hiring organizers to mobilize voters and replace Martha McSally with someone who will put the people of Arizona — not Donald Trump — first.

Will you donate $15 to help defeat Martha McSally and end Mitch McConnell's control of the Senate?

Before being appointed to the Senate, Martha McSally spent just four years in the House of Representatives, but in that short amount of time, she voted to:7

Restrict access to abortion FIFTEEN times
#Defund #PlannedParenthood
Effectively ban #insurancecoverage for #abortion
Arizonans understand that politicians don't belong in decisions that need to be made by a pregnant person with the support of those they trust. McSally's anti-choice votes are completely out of step with the values the voters of Arizona hold — it's one of the main reasons she lost in 2018.

McSally's opponent in 2020 is #MarkKelly ☑️💙a former #astronaut and husband of #gunsafety champion and former #congresswoman #GabrielleGiffords. Mark has pledged to stand up for #RoevWade, and that commitment is already helping him gain an edge in the race — the latest poll has him leading in the race by 5 points.8

But a victory is far from guaranteed. This race will be neck and neck until November 2020. Will you donate to defeat Martha McSally and elect pro-choice champion Mark Kelly #arizona CORRUPT #senatormarthamcsally is a #rightwing #bigot who has #voted with #donaldtrump more than 96% of the time.
