  • ๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿญ Farris and Foster
When the business began in 2001, Farris was the #chocolate genius while Foster was the #business man extraordinaire!
In 2003 Farris was called up to active duty in the United States Air Force Reserves. When his tour was over, the Air Force convinced him to stay full time.
Since that time, Foster has been the sole proprietor. Foster attended chocolate school after Farris left, to ensure the best products would be produced.
The business has grown into both a retail space, as well as a venue for chocolate making events we call parties!
Foster is in the store just about every day making chocolate, running parties, and is always focused on making the shop fun and exciting!
Our staff at Farris and Fosterโ€™s is friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to assist customers with anything they need.
The company founders believe strongly in service to #God, tierorlando #family, and community. Both served many years in youth programs in their churches and Foster volunteers in the Boy Scouts of America. You can describe Farris and Foster with one word that explains both their personalities and their preference in chocolate: nutty! ๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿญ Farris and Foster When the business began in 2001, Farris was the #chocolate genius while Foster was the #business man extraordinaire! • When friends come into town and you have the perfect excuse to bake. (Not that I really need one) ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿคฉ @naturespinning you better get over here and eat this before someone else does. ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿป. This is a flourless chocolate poke cake topped with a dark chocolate ganache and fresh raspberries. Super easy and quick recipe.

Cake:
1/2C (one stick) butter Melted
1 C semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 C Sugar
1/2 C Cocoa Powder
3 eggs
1tsp vanilla
Salt

Ganache:
1 bar of 60% cocoa baking bar
1/4C +\- sugar
1C heavy cream

Melt butter & chips together. Mix in the rest of the ingredients mixing after each one. Pour into a prepared round cake pan (parchment paper is best) then bake at 350ยฐ for about 25 min or when toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely on cooling rack. Once cooled poke mini holes over the entire cake. I used the flat end of a wooden skewer.
Warm heavy cream in pot until a light simmer. Add in sugar and mix until dissolved. Take off heat and add in chocolate. Stir until you have smooth creamy chocolate sauce. Pour over cake and let cool. Top with raspberries or any other toppings. (Powdered sugar, ice cream ect) When friends come into town and you have the perfect excuse to bake.
