𝑩𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑩𝒆𝒆𝒇 (corn, chanterelles, shallot)
My favorite of the two main dishes, the beef was so tender it pulled apart with a fork and the corn was so sweet and flavorful 😍

𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒛𝒐 (peaches, radicchio, anise hyssop)

𝑴𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒅 (goat cheese, pistachio, basil, fennel) so refreshing and loved the hazelnuts on top 😊

𝑨𝒕𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝑪𝒐𝒅 (braised radish, chowder broth, dill) perfectly cooked and flaky Cod, fell apart on our forks effortlessly, only thing lacking was more flavor from the chowder broth 
𝑺𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒓 𝑽𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒆 (apricot, mascarpone, pistachio) Great way to end the meal, flavors all blended together so well and it wasn't overly sweet!

  • Last night’s dinner at @bellotasf and performance at @theatreflamenco was a perfect Spanish doubleheader. From the herbaceous Gin Tonics, sultry Sherries, and Spanish wines curated by badass Wine Director @itrainsinspain (if you are not following her and reading her blog, do yourself a favor and start now) to the warm service and seasonal Spanish dishes — everything surprised and delighted us at Bellota. I shall return soon for Monday night wine flights and pintxos.

Then we attended a performance at Theatre Flamenco where its artistic director @carolazertuche stunned us with her powerful performances (accompanied by a vocalist and guitarist) in such an intimate space - also where she teaches Flamenco - quite effectively as we saw from her students who also performed.
