  • Section 375
This gets added to the list of those small budget movies which are great but don't get recognition when they release, because they have not been extensively promoted. This one might get more eye balls when it releases on OTT platform. If you love court room dramas, you will enjoy this thoroughly. .
.
What's good?
1. The treatment of the plot - The plot is too relevant right now given the recent phase of #MeToo movement. The treatment of the plot is definitely novel and engaging. Do not expect lengthy high pitched dramatical speeches- like Amitabh bacchan in Pink, Sunny Deol in Damini etc. This is not that kind of treatment of the subject. It's realistic cinema at its best blended well with entertainment.
2. AKSHAYE KHANNA - Dude this guy is one of the most underrated actors of our industry. Here, he is again fantastic as he was in his last one - Ittefaq. Richa Chaddha shines too but doesn't have a meatier role.
3. Dialogues - The writing is top notch here with some amazing dialogues relating to Law and Justice.
4. The movie will make you uncomfortable at certain moments in the first half but I suppose that was the intention of the director and he succeeds. .
.
What could have been better?
1. Some people might find the pace of the film a bit slow specially when one of the scenes keeps repeating a lot of times from different perspectives.
2. The news reporting scenes and people agitating outside courts is a bit overdone.

Rights made available by Samuel French.

As politics continues to infiltrate human rights and social justice issues worldwide, Prince William Little Theatre brings one of the great courtroom dramas of the last century to the stage. This rarely produced but critically praised courtroom drama covers the searing testimony and the difficult moral, ethical and legal issues presented by the less publicized segment of the trials, which focused on the collaboration of German judges with the Nazi regime.
Judgment at Nuremberg poses several difficult questions: How can indefensible crimes be defended? How does a judge, committed to the law, enforce immoral and vicious crimes against humanity? Why, in the aftermath of WWII, did America pressure the courts to be lenient on the defendants? And, critically, what does America do when our foreign policy interests clash with our stated beliefs in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?

Performances are in the Gregory Family Theater at the Hylton Performing Arts Center, located on the George Mason University campus at 10960 George Mason Circle in Manassas, VA on the following dates and times:

October 11, 2019 at 8:00 pm
October 12, 2019 at 8:00 pm
October 13, 2019 at 2:00 pm
October 18, 2019 at 8:00 pm
October 19, 2019 at 8:00 pm
October 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm

Tickets are $20 for Adults, $17 for Seniors/Students/Active Military and $13 for Children 12 and Under. Tickets are available at the door or can be purchased online.

Knowing Ajay Bahl and Manish Gupta coming together, I had my own big expectations from the film.

Thankfully, they deliver fulfilling the expectations as another thought provoking film raising a strong debate.

In short,
If a complex #Courtroom Drama leaves you in two minds seriously thinking about the case, then it deserves to be seen as a must supporting such rare cinema.

Cheers!

  • When an individual begins to contemplate the possibility of taking their case to #court, it’s all too easy to become intimidated by the #legalprocess attached to the modern #civiltrial procedure. Although #lawyers deal with these ideas and issues on a regular basis, there’s a good chance that a #plaintiff for a case has little to no experience with #courtroom procedure whatsoever. Instead of simply trusting an attorney to “handle it”, it’s always beneficial to understand how a civil case comes together, and what exactly happens before the trial begins. In fact, the basic foundational elements of a civil trial can be divided into four primary sections: #pleadings, #discovery, #trial and #appeal.
