Whenever I head to the lumber yard with a list of material, I don’t always leave with exactly what’s on my list. The list is more of a general guideline for what I need. I will usually end up with boards longer or wider simply because I’m going for quality of grain, color etc. I find that labeling each board for what it will be used for is a simple way to keep everything organized. Once it’s time to start breaking down the boards in the shop, I quickly know what each board is to be used for. A portion of my next project will consist of building a ladder, posts and rail out of 6/4 and 8/4 maple.

One of the great things about being a national company is that we get to see so much of the UK.
This week you can find us in #malvern, #bromyard, #hereford, #duffield, #liverpool, #islington and #kensington to name just a few.
The question is, can we beat this view from a couple of weeks ago? Who wouldn't enjoy working in Dartmouth on a sunny day!
