Seven years ago we did a wedding with Amma. We had a nice anniversary darshan with her in Toronto. She had us each feed each other chocolate and she threw flowers on us. Afterwards she gave us roses and apples. I think there are many patterns that hold us back in relationships, especially family lineage patterns. We are most affected by why our parents, grand parents and great grandparents haven’t worked out. It’s amazing the journey that Amma has taken us through. I’m excited for the continued purification in my life. I remember in 2011 I asked her about there being peace in the relationship. She said that we’re going through a difficult transition but that things will be ok. Now in 2019 I think we’re still going through that transition, but that it’s getting better. Before 8 years seemed like a long time. When I think of the patterns we’ve purified, now it does not seem that long. This was the first tour we did where we did not fight or get sick with anything. We had a very nice couple of programs with Amma. We finally made a Devi Bhava as well! It took us 3 cities but we could part of the early morning of Toronto and received a darshan. My retreat consisted mainly of sleeping and walking up and down stairs for hours. I always loved Disney growing up, and I finally figured out because it was some of the happiest times with my family. Now I can go to these Amma events with my family, and we can have all of these adventures. At my first ever astrology reading, the astrologer told me I’d be happy after I got married. I think he meant I’d be happy after I had a family. #toddler#cuteness#love#family#motherhood#parenting#baby#travel#anniversary#child#babygirl#vacation
“Truth has power. And if we all gravitate toward similar ideas, maybe we do so because those ideas are true ... written deep within us. And when we hear the truth, even if we don't understand it, we feel that truth resonate within us ... vibrating with our unconscious wisdom. Perhaps the truth is not learned by us, but rather, the truth is re-called ... re-membered ... re-cognized ... as that which is already inside us,” -Dan Brown
