bricks - for you James
for me - industrial building bits
looking a little bit like connected people in a chain - your bodypart world is merging into mine!
-
this composition
made my step pause
my eye look
as i strode past
with purpose
to my studio29
sunday ahead
-
with my drawings
bundled safe
they are happy
to be going home
after sitting
with a lilac X mark
on their backs
for a week
-
James you know my palette - my least fav colour
who invented lilac chalk i say
give me white anyday!
-
i digress
it has been a good week with two visits to #tbwdp19 making me notice a different place -
the security guards on hope street thought i was staking the place bit like the bomb squad in #salisbury on our #walk5 last month
-
i know we are at trinity buoy wharf for our next walk in September James but please be warned that you will be more than aware it is the extreme of new city living a concrete & brick jungle
even my ghinko trees looked a little ill
as i walked round
hope square
the poor little trees
stuck
in a bituminous place
with no space
to turn
to see the world
their backs
to the organic
water flow
