Opinion:
I was a heavy listener of Brockhampton’s first saturation album, however due to this page I can’t stay stuck on an artist or group for too long so I haven’t listened to the other Saturation projects, but I saw “GINGER” was released not to long ago and thought I needed to get on it asap.

“NO HALO”
This tracks purpose as an introduction to an album fits nicely with a warming welcome from bright vocals. As Matt Champion comes in with his verse is when I feel the darkness seeping in a bit more. The tone of the track seems to shift between the verses and the chorus as it progresses.

“SUGAR”
I found myself listening to this track on repeat more than 2-3 times. What really stood out to me is that no ones vocals in this track are super specific, using distortion and autotune to all sound different. This idea of “SUGAR” I felt represented the love and support that each band member should feel, although fans have favorite it’s good to remember that supporting all of them helps your favorite band member feel more connect with the others.

“ST. PERCY”
Coming in strong are the 808’s or distorted bass chords through the introduction that catch your attention. Kevin Abstract’s verse seems to have a large range from his normal vocals to vocals with an accent and some flow changes. The track carries such depth with sonic transitions being more prominent between band member verses.

“BIG BOY”
At first I heard the over autotuned vocals and thought, “Is this a joke?” But as I continued to listen to the track I can hear the progression and consciousness of the tracks message. The first verse seems to be the most important as the instrumental feels super different from the rest.

Overall, Brockhampton did an amazing job with this project. From their emphasis on tone in their tracks, to laying out tracks structurally and sonically this is what makes the project - - TASTEFULL!!!
