First time doing one of these: here’s my editing workflow from my last project 🎥
Putting together a video is like solving a puzzle, except the only difference is that you get to decide what the end result looks like. It’s so rewarding to bring to life what you’ve been envisioning in your head
Most of this video was shot handheld, I’m not always a fan of stable footage and I LOVE the look and feel that a little bit of natural camera shake gives
Should I upload more of these? Let me know 🙌🏼
If only you guys knew how hard it was to choose my favorite shots for this post. And then having to mix horizontal shots with vertical shots😭... || Anyways, here’s some photos from the last wedding I shot, for one of my long time friends❤️. Check my previous post for more photos! ✨ #swiperight#weddingphotographer#shotbyme
20 years ago I witnessed the rise of DSLR replacing film cameras. I was about 12 and my dad got the family our first digicam ; a Panasonic Lumix FX-1, a 3MP camera that could only hold itself up to ISO 400.
It took a few generations until digital cameras were fully accepted and analog photography was left to the enthusiasts rather than the professionals. And now, mirrorless cameras and smartphones are taking over. There are more and more alternatives than the good ol' DSLR for professional photographers these days.
Smartphone photogrpahy for the masses and mirrorless for the future ?
Will optical processes and light shaping techniques eventually be left for enthusiasts ?
Eventually, the DSLR will be obsolete and mirrorless will takeoever being far more superior in every aspect. All we need is a little change in public perception and the DSLR could be gone for good. If you're looking to buy a new camera, save yourself the hassle and get a mirrorless.
As for me, I'm sticking with the one pictured here cause it still delivers a punch or maybe because I am just being a Chinaman.
