When you compare equivalent volumes of 250ml (about 1 glass) of Red Bull vs Coke, the calories & sugar content are VERY similar.-

Regardless of how much you drink, the energy boost is likely to be short & may actually leave you feeling more sluggish & hungry.-

If you need a kick start:-

1) Try "a strong coffee. You will get the caffeine & carbs & protein that your body will use for energy. Black coffee also works if you are getting protein & carbs from food at the same time. Sugar free Energy drinks are an option but you miss the bonus if low GI carbs & protein that you get from a milk coffee.-

2) Increase your water intake. I know it sounds simple but most of us do not drink enough water. Even just a slight dehydration will you sluggish. This is not something you can fix in a day. Work on getting enough fluid every day.-
