➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
In 2015, I had thousands of followers and made a decision to get rid of my social media accounts for the following reasons:
1. Mark Cuban released a statement that companies will profile you based on your posts.
2. Most of the posts I saw were full of people frontin.
3. Everyone was trying to compare each other to the next person.
4. People were more worried about how many followers they had rather than their character.
People thought I fell off of the face of the earth. I had moved to Las Vegas and Miami to focus on growing myself. I posted nothing about the life I was living because it was all about the grind.
The grind isn’t a glamorous lifestyle. From the moment you wake up to the moment you sleep it is full of massive activity that requires high energy, ambition, and drive. Your foot is on the gas pedal at 100mph and you can’t take it off.
Long hours in the office and at home dealing with happy clients and some upset clients. Calls at 4am in Kuwait and calls at 11pm in Australia. Lots of plane rides and hotels. Very little sleep. No time to hangout with friends. No time to go out and party. 100% focus.
I came back to social media in 2018 because I realized how big of a financial problem there is in America. It made me sick to see Millennials and Gen Xers struggle financially. Students being lied to that taking on over $100k in student loans to obtain a piece of paper will make them rich one day. Credit cards being maxed out on every level. People spending all of their money on dumb shit like living in a high rise apartment when 80% of their income is going towards rent.
The scholarly reports that have been published made my jaw drop to the floor and eyes bulge out of my forehead with how bad the financial situation is.
My goal is if 100% of the content I post changes a mere 1% of your financial life for the better, I am grateful for that.
On this page, we talk about real financial problems in America and how to be aware of them throughout your life. Furthermore, education that isn’t taught in Universities that actually teaches you how to make and manage money.
Save That Money and Enjoy :) 💵
"I can't afford it"⠀
Many people live life saying "I can't afford" with many few changing their view to simply "How can I afford it?"⠀
Retraining yourself to learn how you can afford something is one of the first steps to financial success, as you soon learn the pathway to get what you really want. As many of us know, what we put our mind to we usually achieve.
Helped a good friend of mine his ex wife while teaching him this business ‼️ super awesome mom with 3 beautifull children👍👌after looked at me as her shoulders dropped and said I can finally sleep knowing if something happened my children are ok with the right product ‼️ that's what it's all about and what we do is right ‼️ showed her what i made she grabbed all my business cards to hand out and said she is going to eventually join to help other families and build a business 💯💯💯 #wedowhatsright#protect#education#finance#pri#legacy_lifestyle
By now you know that we've been talking about HOME since August started.
Our dream homes.
Decorating inspiration (don't ever say INSPO).
Even some cleaning tips to make tackling tile easier.
Home isn't just open plan kitchens and four-poster beds though, is it?
To us, nothing says HOME better than a fold-open container of freshly delivered dumplings. Think about it- it's not the couch that makes the take-out and tv night is it? It's not the HD screen or the deep pile rug.
It's hearing that doorbell and hustling to answer it in sweatpants you know no on should really see you in.
It's pulling up the coffee table and not even bothering to "set the table" because that paper bag will serve as a perfectly respectable placemat for the inevitable soy sauce spill.
Yeah, opening your front door after weeks away is a comfort better writers than us have tackled. Opening that dumpling container and settling in to not go out?
There actually are no words.
There is, however, this shot from out friends at @feelgoodfoods. Also, guess what we're doing tonight?
At first glance, on a small cellphone screen, we were convinced this was a set shot from the Kubrick classic: A Clockwork Orange.
At a closer look (aided by actually reading the caption), we realized it was our friends at @flavorpaper giving this sleeping suite a bit of the old ultra-glamor.
Viddy this styling well, bedroom droogs...We just tacked this pic onto our to-do mood board.
Our living room is a work in progress.
Most of our rooms are, to be honest...
There is art to be framed, a final end table to be selected and we sorely need a throw pillow cull. We're running out of sitting space.
We can look at the new couch, the rug we got in May and the reading lamp (that could be either more mid-century or more modern to really work) and we see that the room is so close. It's almost there.
Then we see this room from @teenbryant and our friends at @stfranktextiles and think...
A) We aren't as close as we thought
B) Can we just steal every idea in this shot?
C) Can someone do it for us?
D) How do you match a surfboard to the wall color so well??
For part 3 of our Dream Home Series, we've gone Hollywood.
One of the most famous homes in the history of film is not a real house at all, but a movie set. Created entirely at MGM studios in Culver City, the Vandamm House from North by Northwest was meant to look like a Frank Lloyd Wright design. It does.
And we want it.
Mid Century Modern at it's finest...With a splash of Cary Grant cool...and James Mason menace.
In our early 20s, we were just fine with mismatched towels and sheets. Hand-me-downs from Mom, that budget set in an uncomfortable shade of ochre we instantly regretted paying for, a bathmat accidentally lifted from a motel.
It was ok back then.
We didn't have guests over, we had friends just "crash." We were barely home since it was still feasible to start the night at 11 pm instead of end it at 10:30.
Things are different now.
We have moved the needle from "whatever" to "let's get luxe."
We're adults, right?
Like any self-respecting grown-up, we are aiming to have our linens and towels delivered to our door.
By camel. In case the neighbors are watching.
@weezietowels gets us.
And we are gonna get another set of Weezie Towels.
We're having guests over. They’re not just crashing.
The Propeller Dream Home series is back.
Our first installment?
Look, we're not bad people.
We tip 25%, get our taxes (and yours) in on time, and only share our streaming service passwords with immediate family. Saying that, we just don't think super-villains should be the only ones that get to live in undersea forts or volcano-crater hideaways.
Since this is the DREAM home series, we're dreaming big and going full Bond villain...Without the crime or world domination designs, of course.
