• What’s your favorite way to enjoy your portraits? • Mine is a hard split between a good balanced minimal wall gallery with framed fine art prints and heirloom albums like this one newborn album that came in this week. And my kids LOVE flipping through these albums!

If someone asked me what my job was, I think I would list this as the single most important thing. .
My job is to create portraits for you that *make you feel something* .
Sometimes that’s a portrait of you smiling at me, sometimes that’s snuggling with your busy toddler in a rare quiet moment, sometimes that’s a tiny detail that you simply just feel deep down.
Having a new baby is an incredible and powerful time in your life. It's full of raw and indescribable love and emotion.
It's also often filled with questions... Who will be there?
What will it be like?
What if my perfect plans need to be changed?
I've been there mommas... I've had babies that were early... babies that were late... a baby that was in a great big hurry and decided the side of the highway was the perfect place to be born.
I've seen labor and delivery both as a momma myself (6 times over!) and as a photographer. I've held hands in support and sat back in quiet awe. I've shared intimate moments of love and incredible accomplishment.
I believe that every birth... every baby... and every momma deserves to be celebrated and have her story heard.
Are you expecting or know someone that is? I'd love help you tell your story!! Comment or tag a friend below 👇
I think with baby number two and on, so many parents are most worried about how their oldest baby or babies will be.
I know that was hands down one of my biggest fears, especially being an only child. What even IS this sibling thing?
But I saw it in my own babies. And i see it in almost all of my clients. This sibling love and bond that is something simply indescribable with words, but you see in them and can forever see in portraits.
