That’s me in the Green Beanie. Today at 1am I had to say goodbye to my last of my grandfathers. 95 years is a great life Abuelito. I will miss your passion for the #harmonica | que descanses en Paz Abuelito Florentino.
My whole life, I have been fascinated with the Arts.
Which Arts? All Arts. I find the Art in almost everything.
Martial Arts (Suck it, Streep), Music, Sports, Drawing, Painting, Comedy, Acting, Photography, Dancing, Caretaking, Medicine, Science, Stories, People, Nature, War, Etc.
Being a ninja to me has never been about fancy moves and ‘kiya’ sounds.
Be a ninja in all aspects of life. That’s my goal. Everything you do in life, become a master at it.
I used to be a music producer and carried this same mentality. And with sports, and work, and everything else. I practiced, I studied, I did shows, I jammed, I traveled, I did whatever I felt necessary regardless of incentive, and I’ve always had another level of respect for everyone that does the same.
Although, I am not still active in the musical arts, my passion for appreciating Art since birth is forever alive.
This is Bad News Brown.
He was one of the baddest mofos I’ve ever heard on the harmonica. I’ve always loved abstract instruments and musical genre mashups.
He was so great at what he did.
You all know my connection with the number 11.
He was killed on February 11, 2011.
Since then, as I have with many artists I’ve known, I have made it a purpose to make sure they live on through the Art they were blessed with and were driven enough to share with us.
So, for anyone that’s never heard or met this man, it’s my pleasure to introduce to you
Bad News Brown.
Rest In Peace, my ninja. @badnewsbrown_ ⚔️💯.
If you’re curious to explore the instruments that helped carry stories through the ages, we are fortunate to see a wide range of vintage stringed instruments that hark back to yesteryear such as banjos, archtop guitars and mandolins. We also stock brand new Hohner harmonicas, secondhand violins and refurbished accordions. Here’s three banjos to whet your appetite! #banjo#mandolin#harmonica#folkmusic#hohner
