Full-Time: Man City 8-0 Watford. An absolutely insane win today, at a complete loss for words. Can't believe I was concerned after our loss to Norwich, we've just made history! C'MON CITY! #mancityvswatford 💙🔥
Half-Time: Man City 5-0 Watford. UNBELIEVABLE! The fastest five goals in Premier League history! What a response to our defeat last weekend! The match could easily finish 10-0 at this rate! Brilliant, C'mon City! #mancityvswatford 💙🔥
Predicted line-up to face Watford! I feel like we're going to go with a strong line-up today as we attempt to bounce back from the Norwich game and close the gap between us and Liverpool. Score Prediction: Man City 3-1 Watford. C'mon City! #mancityvswatford 💙🔥
Full-Time: Shakhtar Donetsk 0-3 Man City. Solid performance today, great to see our defence keep a clean sheet despite looking shakey recently without Laporte. Great to see Mendy and Cancelo get some minutes aswell. All in all a great performance and a perfect response to our defeat against Norwich. Huge well done to anybody who went to the game today, I've heard about how bad of a state Ukraine is in right now. C'mon City! 🔥💙⚽️
Half-Time: Shaktar Donetsk 0-2 Man City. A good first-half performance by us, looks like our loss to Norwich on the weekend hasn't affected us at all which is a good sign. A couple more goals in the second-half and it will be a great start to our Champions League journey. C'mon City! 💙🔥⚽️
The official line-up to face Shakhtar Donetsk! Honestly, I'm not too happy about it. Cancelo should definitely be starting in my opinion, but it's good to see Mendy back on the bench with Eric Garcia. Score Prediction: Shakhtar 2-3 City. C'mon City! 💙🔥
TONIGHT we start our UEFA Champions League journey! We face Shakhtar Donetsk away for the 3rd time in a row! What will be the outcome? Can we finally bring the UEFA Champions League home? More news to follow tonight. C'MON CITY! 🔥💙💪
Sorry I'm a bit late with this but thank you for 2,000 followers! Crazy to think that just two months ago I had barely 700. Thanks for all the support and I'll continue to keep you all up to date with the latest City news! #ctid 💙🙌🔥
Pep Guardiola has confirmed that John Stones will be out with a muscular injury for up to five weeks. This is absolutely horrendous news for us, as with Laporte out for months as it is, we have little options when it comes to centre-backs. With the start of The UEFA Champions League tomorrow, how badly will this effect us? 😞💙
Here’s the traveling squad for the trip to Shakhtar Donetsk!
Phil Foden is not fully fit and that’s why he’s not in the squad.
Leroy Sané and Aymeric Laport are long-term absentees.
After our unexpected defeat at Carrow Road, many people are going to be wondering - where do we go from here? Well, right now we just need to lift our heads up and keep going, but a few things need to be addressed. Firstly, Nicolas Otamendi. He's made far too many silly mistakes like the one against Norwich this season, and unfortunately this time it cost us the game. The match showed us how crucial Laporte is to us, however there is nothing we can do about his injury. So, Pep has to give the likes of Eric Garcia and Harwood-Bellis a chance in the first-team and try playing Fernandinho as a CB. It's also now pretty obvious that we need to start De Bruyne as much as we can, as he's a crucial asset to our attack. It's also time for Phil Foden to get regular starts, otherwise we'll have another Sancho situation on our hands, and Phil is too good to lose. It's only September, so let's get behind our boys and keep on fighting. Like I said earlier, we need to keep our heads up high and look forward to Wednesday, the start of our UEFA Champions League journey this season. C'mon City! 💙 #ctid
