“The first wealth is health”
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
It’s easy to become inactive, we live in a world of growing convenience. No need to move a muscle, goods and services are delivered to us at a blink of an eye. We sit all day in offices glued to screens and sit at home glued to screens. The first wealth is health, without good health our living standard degrades. Staying healthy is an investment that gives short term pain but long term gain. Refraining from that sugary temptation that becomes a habit. Not wanting to undergo the sweat and tears of exercise. Yet both eating well and being active, have thousands of benefits, even beyond just physical. As a parent I feel it becomes even more important to try to pass on good habits so that the next generation is healthier and happier. Therefore, it all starts with you, as kids do as they see not as they are told. Stay healthy, stay blessed.
