Hey Y’all! If you’ve been following me for any amount of time you know that I’ve been on a personal journey of self-discovery and Self-Love. .
In addition to healing mentally and emotionally, another major area that I’ve struggled is my weight. I was diagnosed with an eating disorder - B.E.D - Binge Eating Disorder or Compulsive Overeating at the age of 12. This went on for years. But after being hospitalized for 5 days for high blood pressure at a range of 230/101 at the age of 31 and having to take 3 different blood pressure medications; I decided then - enough was enough. I tried and was a bit successful with changing my eating habits and lost some weight. However, it wasn’t the amount I’d hope for. I fell off after losing 17 lbs. .
This pattern has continued. I eat well on occasions, but I obviously still struggle. I’ve come to terms that in order for me to get where I want to be, I have to apply my own method of being Disciplined-Optimistic-Patient-Efficient and be accountable for my weight loss goals.
So with that being said I have taken an extra step to become a fitness coach, which is a huge step for me. I am documenting my journey to hold myself accountable to reach my personal goals and to ask for your support.
All are welcome to join me on the journey. I’m taking a 21 day challenge that begins on October 7. The program consist of AT HOME workouts, a NUTRITION program, one on one coaching and ACCOUNTABILITY.

Last week I came up with this idea to bring kids together and enjoy paint therapy! Literally 7 days later we put in to action!

Try and fit in 30mins of movement every single day. Movement can be whatever you want it to be; going for a run, swimming, playing frisbee, a hike, doing a youtube yoga session at home, playing in the park with your kids, dancing, stand-up paddle-boarding, sex, a spin class, rock climbing, or even a simple walk.

I had some energy post workout to get some posing in since I haven’t posed in months (and I don’t want to look like Bambi when it’s time to compete again😂). It feels good to get back to doing things that I love! Can’t lie, I miss competing and prepping (🤯) and all the glitz and glam that comes with the bikini girl lifestyle. And I’m ready to get back to it. A close friend told me that this is my purpose and I’m going use it to not only motivate some of you, but myself too.
How I’ve felt about hotel life lately. 😂🤷🏼♂️ I miss being away from my family, and it’s tough using hotel gyms... but all the same I’m grateful I get to go to different places and meet new people. Remember why you started, and keep it rolling.

Sunday fun fact: Yes, I wear reading glasses! 👓📖 I've been a "four-eyes" on and off since I was a kid. When I was eight years I wanted glasses similar to my older brother's (he was my true idol) so badly that I faked bad vision and was sent to an eye doctor.
To my surprise it turned out that I needed glasses after all, and soon I was the proud owner of a pair of round (Harry Potter like) glasses. Looking back I can see that it wasn't even close to a good look for me 😅 and I was often mistaken for a boy with my short hair and soccer outfits.
I've tired my vision as a student and spending much time behind a computer screen at work. Apart from my light sensivity I actually experience that my vision has improved after stroke, since I haven't been able to spend time on the computer. But I love a good read and realize that I must take better care of my eyes... 📖😍 The ability to envision your future is said to be a key to progress and success . Visualizing is a great tool to shape your future. Have a clear vision of where you want to be, what you want to acvieve and why it's important to you and make a game plan. I use visualizing tools often both to plan my energy bugdet, but also to calm the mind. It helps me in creating and keeping focus on long term and short term goals, and living each day with more intent.
