  • Today I was tagged in a post by @shenaegoesketo for 12 random things about me. I don’t think I’ve ever done a post really introducing myself so this should be fun...
1️⃣ My name is Lynette. NOT Reina. 
Reina is my daughters middle name and my personal ig is @king__reina So I just played off that for my keto page. .
2️⃣ I went to cosmetology school right after high school and I’m licensed in the state of CA. I just haven’t worked in a salon  as a stylist since I had my daughter. .
3️⃣ I worked as a freelance makeup artist for many years and still take makeup jobs here and there but for the most part I’m out of the beauty industry. .
4️⃣ I’m a cannabis enthusiast... a fully functioning stoner you might say. But to be fare I do currently work as a sales rep for an edible company. .
5️⃣ I have absolutely no problem never talking to a person I feel has wronged me,  for the rest my existence. ♏️🦂. .
6️⃣ I have terrible anxiety. Crippling almost... Not many people understand how bad it can be. .
7️⃣ I went to 6 high schools... mostly cause I was a delinquent and my parents weren’t around. .
8️⃣ I’ve become way more of an introvert in my adult life.  Coupled with my anxiety... I’m home a lot. That definitely wasn’t the case in my younger years. .
9️⃣ I’m a believer and lover of astrology. You can learn a lot about yourself thru your birth chart. Scorpio ♏️ sun. Virgo ♍️ moon. Pisces ♓️ rising. So basically I feel all the things. But I’m super organized lol. .
🔟 I have an unnecessary amount of sneakers and I blame @kapitalj for always saying “just get them already!” Every single time I pick up a pair at the store. He speaks my love language. .
1️⃣1️⃣ I hate peas! I won’t eat them. Yuck. .
1️⃣2️⃣ I dream that my teeth are falling out at least once a month for probably the last 12 years. They fall out a different way almost every time. .

Not losing fat as quick as you thought you would?⁣

Here are a few of the most common states that I see.⁣
-⁣
One. People obsessing over the scale. The scale only measures your weight it doesn't tell you how much fat you've lost.⁣
-⁣
Two. You compare yourself to others. Everyone responds in different ways and you also don't know the backstory of the other individual so don't expect the same exact results.⁣
-⁣
Three. You try to re-create all your old junk food but make it keto friendly. You're basically taking all the foods that landed you in this predicament and think because it's keto friendly that makes it any better. -⁣
Four. Eating too much fat. Eating a lot of fat is not a requirement to be in the state of ketosis nor is it a free-for-all.⁣

Five. Eating too little protein. Somehow people have got it in their head that they have to restrict protein on a ketogenic diet, but unless you're using it for therapeutic reasons there is no need. Protein along with ketones is muscle sparing, provides satiety, and well... it tastes good.⁣

Six. Expecting magic and quick fixes. There's nothing magical about the ketogenic diet that allows you to eat whatever you want as long as it is "keto friendly," and lose weight. You must still be in the caloric deficit.⁣

  • Siempre me consultan como empece la dieta cetogenica 👉 *empece sin saber absolutamente nada 👉como aprendí 👉por dos fuentes 👉una es la pagina de @dietdoctor_es y mi otra guía fueron los videos  de youtube de  @villalobosfit ..como dice el dicho querer es poder, asi que animo que tu mente no te limite... les dejo en fotos de  un día cualquiera  que muestra como comía cuando empece esto!!!
Lo unico que medía eran los frutos secos lo cual creo q voy a tener que contarlos nuevamente ya que he abusado de ellos 🤦‍♀️, y por dios que se nota xq estoy estancada en el mismo peso hace 1 mes.. pero voy a mi ritmo asi q me siento relajada totalmente.
Siempre preferí al desayuno grasas buenas no saturadas, mi almuerzo verdura con proteina al igual que la cena, comer así solo me trajo beneficios... en tus manos esta el camino
