Toliko lagana, divno se razmazuje i brzo suši.

  • <OAT SO SIMPLE WATER CREAM>
.
I'm so blessed being able to collaborate with so many brands in testing out many skincare products. Moisturizer is one of the category I have tested and reviewed most! The last moisturizer I purchased with my own money was November Y2017. Hence I put really high hope on my recent purchase Oat So Simple Water Cream. However, it is my least preferred product from @KraveBeauty
.
🌈 Purpose: The brand advertised it as a no-frills moisturizer, which only focus on hydration. Yes nothing more. The formula is worry-free with <10 ingredients, no sulfate, paraben, silicone, alcohol, essential oil which make it can simply fits into everyone and anyone's skincare routine. This water cream is made up of 79.8% water based oat extract, which claims to has tremendous skin calming properties. And not to forget it comes with Squalane as emollient .
.
.
🌈 Texture: A gel based moisturizer which looks like creamy jelly .
🌈 Scent: It has a very faint chemical-ish scent .
🌈 Packaging: Recyclable PET plastic jar with spatula that reads #PressReset
🌈 My usage: Big almond size for the entire face 🌈 My thought: .
.
It is lightweight, cooling and soothing. It needs some gently massage to help my skin to drink it up. Upon application, I noticed my skin slowly turning from semi-dewy to matte finish, not leaving any sticky feeling. However my combo oily skin with dried U-zone found it not enough moisturizing and hydrating. I have to use big almond size amount for entire face, omg I think can empty 80ml in a quarter. A solution, I use Great Barrier Relief before this moisturizer to boost the moisturizing effect. The only thing I wanted to nag is the packaging, the stopper always stuck to the cap, I have to use my finger to pull it down. And the moisturizer always stuck in between the #PressReset engraved letter on the spatula. In short, it doesn't WOW me. I think this is a great moisturizer for sensitive skin, irritated skin and oily skin. But for me this price point, that's a lot more great moisturizer out there. Most probably will not repurchase this, I will spare the money for GBR! .

  • Doubled up on my HOLY GRAIL sunscreen, The Beet Shield by @kravebeauty 🍃
〰️
If you’re struggling to find a sunscreen you like and haven’t tried this one yet, you’re doing yourself a disservice, folks! Due to regulatory bs I can’t really speak on, this product is marketed as an “antioxidant day fluid” in the U.S., but it’s the same formula as the Korean-sold Beet the Sun (SPF 50+ PA++++). It has a texture more like a serum than any sunscreen I’ve ever tried, and it gives a dewy finish with a sliiiight tackiness to prime your face for whatever you want to put on after, and absolutely no white cast. I’ve gone through 3 of these, just opened a new one, and have another for backup... I messed around and went without it for a few weeks, and that was a MISTAKE. I realized quickly that nothing else in my collection measures up (as far as my personal preferences go) in texture, finish, feeling comfortable on my face, or melting perfectly with the rest of my routine, regardless of what else I’m using. It’s relatively affordable too—$20. I’ll never run out again!

  • Empties Volume IV

I’m always SO excited to share my empties because it means that in some capacity my relatively large beauty collection is even the slightest bit smaller.
💇🏻‍♀️ @kristin_ess Dry Shampoo - I love it, but my partner recently told me he is sensitive to the scent, which was devastating for me lol.
🍵 @kravebeauty MHHC - I’ve finished at least 3 or 4 of these at this point. With my recent eczema flare up, my skin has been too sensitive to use this, but it is a wonderful cleanser.
🥛 @glossier Milk Jelly Cleanser - I enjoyed this a few years back, but now I don’t find it works well as a first or second cleanse for me. I wouldn’t repurchase.
🌕 @youthtothepeople Glow Dream Mask - V hydrating and nourishing. I would repurchase at a later point when my eczema flare up has subsided.
🕯 @diptyque Benjoin Candle - I really enjoyed this scent, but I don’t love it enough to specifically repurchase it.
🌟 @starface Hydro-Stars* (gifted) - The only pimple patch I have tried before this were the COSRX ones, which I didn’t love. I found that these from Starface work SO well on whiteheads. I love that there is a refill option as well. I know there are cheaper options out there, but I do see myself repurchasing a refill of these.
🥦 @sundayriley Juno Oil - I have finished a few of these bottles over the years. It’s nourishing, moisturizing, and reliable. Sadly, in light of the brand’s scandal, I don’t think I will be repurchasing.
✨ @beccacosmetics Liquid Highlighter in Opal - I love the look of it, but I didn’t find it lasted well on the skin at all. I wouldn’t repurchase.
☀️ @tatcha Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen - I’ve finished 2 of these, and I do love it. It doesn’t clog my pores or irritate my skin, but the price point is too high for a product I use daily and use a lot of. I have bought cheaper sunscreens to try instead of repurchasing this one at the moment. • @kravebeauty OAT SO SIMPLE WATER CREAM 🌾

Alright, we started off on the wrong foot, but we’re okay now 🙏🏼 Right when I started using this, my oily skin got SO dry&flaky.... I would layer this moisturizer on at night, but my skin felt tight and I woke up in the morning completely matte, even though my face should’ve been an oil slick.... like what? Turns out, my skin was reacting sensitively to the sudden cold weather and the Oat So Simple was just not enough on its own to save my skin. I switched to a heavier cream for the evenings, but I still use this during the day under SPF & makeup and all is swell in the universe.

Despite all that, what I love:
@liahyoo’s mission for simplifying our “skintake.” This is formulated with LESS THAN 10 INGREDIENTS that were all chosen with care.
The texture- so lightweight, watery, and CLEAN. It sits well under makeup too 👌🏼 I’ll def try this cream again in the warmer months to see if I find myself reeeally liking it when my skin isn’t being so diva💥 @kravebeauty OAT SO SIMPLE WATER CREAM 🌾 Alright, we started off on the wrong foot, but we’re okay now 🙏🏼 Right when I started using this, my oily skin got SO dry&flaky.... • ✨SKINCARE REVIEW✨

todays review is gona be on @PCAskin creamy cleanser ($33) & hydrating toner ($44)
* note: my skin type is dry, sensitive, & i have cystic acne
* creamy cleanser - this is supposed to be v good for dry sensitive skin types, & leave the skin smoother, firmer, soft, & radiant. it has rose hip seed oil (strengthens skin), sunflower seed oil (has essential fatty acids), lilac leaf cell culture extract (antioxidant), yucca extract (gentle calming foaming agent), & aloe vera leaf juice (calming agent that softens & soothes). while i will say that i have seen these results in my skin after using this product for ~ a week, it isnt helping my acne. my previous cleanser (the @kravebeauty matcha hemp hydrating cleanser) used to help calm/soothe my cystic acne, this product does not. * hydrating toner - this is supposed to remove dirt & oils, while preventing damage & giving hydration. it has watermelon apple & lentil fruit extracts (protect from damage & help moisture retention), jania rubens extract (hydrates), & evening primrose oil (moisturises & soothes). ive used this for a few days & i would say that ive seen these results as well, but the same issue i had w the cleansers smell, i have w this. i absolutely hate the smell of it, & i feel like its irritating my acne. toning used to be my favourite step, & now i absolutely dread it. since using this product, my cystic acne has come back.
* i personally wont be repurchasing either of these products (both gifted to me), however i will continue to use the remainder of the cleanser but not the toner. id recommend these to people who dont have cystic acne, but have dry skin types, maybe even people w more mature skin. i feel as though all PCA skin products smell similarly, & im not sure why ive never heard of it bothering anyone else, but it definitely bothers me! i dont think ill purchase anything from PCA skin again. i have nothing against the brand or their products though! i just have a sensitive sense of smell, & very sensitive skin. ✨SKINCARE REVIEW✨ todays review is gona be on @pcaskin creamy cleanser ($33) & hydrating toner ($44) * note: my skin type is dry, sensitive, & i have cystic acne * creamy cleanser - this is supposed to be v good for dry sensitive skin types, & leave the skin smoother, firmer, soft, & radiant. it has rose hip seed oil (strengthens skin), sunflower seed oil (has essential fatty acids), lilac leaf cell culture extract (antioxidant), yucca extract (gentle calming foaming agent), & aloe vera leaf juice (calming agent that softens & soothes). while i will say that i have seen these results in my skin after using this product for ~ a week, it isnt helping my acne. my previous cleanser (the @kravebeauty matcha hemp hydrating cleanser) used to help calm/soothe my cystic acne, this product does not.

  • Might not be #texturetuesdsy but I’ve decided we’re swatching sunscreens. 🙈🙈 I’ve had a few people ask me what my “go to” sunscreen is and tbh I’m a creature of habit.. I wear one of the sunscreens daily (can ya guess which one?) BUT I did want to trial out a few other sunscreens that had been sent to me.. SOOO I’ve spent the past week testing them all out & have popped my thoughts below👇🏻: .
.
⚫️ @larocheposayaunz larocheposayaunz Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid Sunscreen in SPF50+: Retails for about $23 at @pricelineau. Texture is best described as “drippy.” Has both chemical & mineral properties. Absorbs into skin without ‘greasy feel’, can feel a bit ‘gritty’ for a few seconds when rubbed in but that soon fades away. Works REALLY well under makeup, super lightweight & great for sensitive skin. .
.
⚫️ @aspectskin Sun Envirostat Face SPF50: Retails for about $35. Texture can be best described as “gloopy.” Chemical based sunscreen. Thicker than the @larocheposayaunz and a few pumps goes a long way. Has a nice finish & doesn’t feel greasy when applying. Would skip primer if using this under makeup (works well, no pilling from what I experienced!)
.
.
⚫️ @skinstitut Age Defence SPF50+: Retails for about $32. Texture can be describe as “thick.” Chemical & physical properties to the sunscreen. A small squeeze goes a LONG way. Has a matte finish & a bit more of a greasy feel on the skin. There was a slight white cast when applied however I may have put too much on. No pulling under makeup but pores did feel a bit clogged. Would recommend for body use. .
.
⚫️ @mesoesteticaustralia Mesoprotech Melan 130 SPF50: Retails for about $76. Texture can be described as “smooth.”Has a combination of chemical & physical properties. Absorbs into skin BEAUTIFULLY & has a lovely tinted finish which helps even out skin tone. Works extremely well under makeup & can act as a primer. Contains depigmenting ingredients to rmelanin synthesis (anyone who suffers from pigmentation you will LOVE this 🙌🏻).
.
.
Can y’all guess my favourite/s based on my mini review? • #oneemptyonenewbie I’ve got a few empties to review but this product deserves its own highlight. @kravebeauty’s Great Barrier Relief is one of the products responsible for changing my skin for the better. I absolutely love this product, I use this daily - twice a day if my skin in struggling like it was just a few days ago. In my experience, it’s moisturizing, it’s brightening and it’s soothing. I overdid it a bit with actives recently and this was instrumental in nursing my skin back to health. There probably isn’t anything new I can say about this product that you haven’t read, it’s beloved for good reason. I don’t see myself ever not having this product in my routine, GBR is here to stay ❤️ #oneemptyonenewbie #kravebeauty #greatbarrierrelief #skincarecommunity #skincare #skincareobsessed #skincareroutine #beauty #beautycommunity #oneemptyonenewbie I’ve got a few empties to review but this product deserves its own highlight. @kravebeauty’s Great Barrier Relief is one of the products responsible for changing my skin for the better. #kravebeauty oat so simple water cream
#kravebeauty great barrier relief serum
⠀
new cream + my lifesaver serum ⍢ the oat cream is very light and watery, while refusing to let go of moisture. as seen in third pic, skin is immediately rejuvenated with tangible dewiness after application, and it stays that way too. I love that it’s simple in ingredients so that I don’t have to be worried about what products I can layer it with, or what condition my skin is in! (unlike some of my anti-aging products that can leave me feel drier or irritated) lastly, idk how to eloquently describe my love for the serum but I actually get nervous when I notice I’m running out of it. on my fourth bottle & counting💚

  • Layering moisturizers

But first out with the old... relegating the #sk11 RNA power cream to my neck routine as it's not really working for me. It doesn't hydrate my skin very well and doesn't play nice with my other products.
For me the colder months means layers. And for the first time I'm laying moisturizers!
Moisturizers are not built the same. In fact there are 3 groups of moisturizers. Basically, 1 group hydrates from the inside, another group hydrates and moisturizes the outer layers and the third is like a sealant and locks in all the hydration. This is all based on their ingredients. Watch @director_pihyunjung YouTube video to learn more. My mind was totally blown after!
Her video came at the right time. It's getting really cold here in Korea. Fingers and noses are freezing instantly. Face looked at bit dry by the end of the day. Felt a bit rough too. So i decided to try and layer my moisturizers and I love the results.
At the #kravebeauty popup i got samples of their new Oat so simple water cream. It has a light texture but it has some heft to it. It absorbs beautifully and hydrates my skin well but only for a while. My skin was dry by the end of the day. This cream doesn't have a sealant so i reintroduced #theveganglow good morning cream back into my routine. Total game changer.
Result speak for themselves. * skin is hydrated and stays hydrated all day (no joke.)
* skin feels soft and smooth
* no residue or tackiness * makeup looks beautiful
* not oily t zones * no breakouts, whiteheads or more blackheads
