  • So my bestie @paulabevege told me about this awesome thing called @vitallyvitamins You answer some questions online about your lifestyle and they tell you which vitamins you should be taking. They send you a month worth and each day is in a package like this one! What a genius idea!! I wouldn’t know where to start with vitamins so I love that they tell you and you don’t even have to remember what to take because it’s all packaged up for you! #vitallyvitamins So my bestie @paulabevege told me about this awesome thing called @vitallyvitamins You answer some questions online about your lifestyle and they tell you which vitamins you should be taking. • Looking for a weekend date idea?
In May we had been trying to have a more frugal month with no unnecessary purchases. So we decided it was the perfect month to do another $20 date challenge!! We wanted to do something different but just didn’t have any ideas flowing. Then the gorgeous @pageandpine happened to generously gift us our very own set of date dice (which we had been eyeing off for months!!) The timing was perfect as these dice are supposed to help take the guess work out of planning no-fuss simple dates. We had already locked in babysitting for an afternoon session, and funnily enough we literally rolled ‪3pm‬ - Beach - Picnic! You can’t make this stuff up - it could not have had our name all over it more.

So we packed our basket and picked a spot we hadn’t been before on the Peninsula. It was actually so much fun having the $20 limit, perusing the aisles of the local gourmet food shops with our calculator at the ready. We kept swapping items in and out of our basket, guesstimating at the deli, oogling over all the cheeses until we had a selection of everything for our late lazy lunch. We were after some good quality cheese so blew over half the budget on our favourite Fromager dÁffinois - but gosh, it was so worth it!! We still managed to get; a fresh Noisette baguette, a handful of sliced Spanish prosciutto, a piece of Dutch smoked cheese, creamy basil dip (hello $1 quick sale) AND a delicious fresh brownie from the local cafe ALL for $22.90 (forgive us for the slight overspend - we couldn’t say no to the brownie at the end haha)
$23 for a 3 hour date is pretty decent in our eyes!! It was so simple but because we weren’t focusing on anything else, our conversation was more authentic and we left feeling so refreshed with love tanks full. Fancy dinners do it for some, but for us - you, me and the sea, always.
This is our third $20 date and we can’t recommend trying one for yourselves. Dates don’t need to be a big deal, just small pockets of intentional time together 🧡Full details of the date in our stories today! #growyourlove Looking for a weekend date idea?
