Escaped the confines of homework and house work to spend some time with my lovely Aunt Gwen for her birthday. It was wonderful seeing everyone after a year (that’s horrible!), but this final stretch of #mbalife is kicking my butt. PS: we gone need to get her to an island because she is looking pale against our Aruban tans 😂🤣😂🤣 (love you auntie 💕💕)

I'm not sure exactly when it happened, but something changed.
It had turned from something I enjoyed, into a box I'd force myself to check. For the first time in my life, I just didn't find joy in it anymore. Until I found virtual bootcamps.
A place where I could do a program that fit me, without competing against someone else. Where there was VARIETY and ENCOURAGEMENT. Where there was women I could lean on when life got HARD, to celebrate with when I felt STRONGER and cheer on them when they needed me too ❤
That's when my "had tos" became "get tos" again. And for the first time in a long while, I didn't quit 🎉
If you've been there sister, just know I've been there too. It can feel tiresome on that hamster wheel, but just know we can break it together!
Ready to do the damn thing? I have a discount promo code for the first SIX women to embrace change this month💕. These will go quick!
Not sure it's your jam? Head over to my bio for a free sample workout and meal plan to get your toes in the water!

Did you know the creation of Spanx was directly connected to Blakely selling fax machines? Check out the story below! .
In 1998, having failed the LSAT twice, Sara Blakely was a 27-year-old Florida State graduate selling fax machines door-to-door in Clearwater, Florida. Blakely was good at her job — Danka, the company she worked for, promoted her to national sales trainer at 25 — but she wasn’t exactly passionate about hawking clunky office equipment in subtropical heat
At the time, Blakely owned some cream slacks she’d never worn because she didn’t have any underwear that wouldn’t show through the light fabric. One night, eager to premiere the pants at a party, she had a revelation. Blakely grabbed a pair of the pantyhose she was required to wear for work — she’d never liked how the seamed toes looked in her sandals, but she did appreciate what the control-top did for her butt — cut off the feet, and put them on under the pants. Though the edges of the hastily altered tights rolled up her legs all night, she was pretty sure that the smoothed-out, lineless look she’d achieved was something that, with some perfecting, other women would happily pay for.
The company that resulted from that idea, Spanx, now offers more than 200 shapewear and other products. Its annual sales have been estimated at $400 million, making Blakely, who retains 100 percent ownership of the business, the youngest self-made female billionaire in the United States.

Education on basic healthcare and sanitation calls for immediate attention. In order to achieve the same, students from Karma Yoga committee of Great Lakes organized a medical camp at Vengambakkam Primary School, located near the campus.
Prior to organizing this initiative, students took a survey from the villagers on various parameters such as the number of hospital visits per month, prolonged illness if any and other medical issues. And, based on these results, a camp was held to address the primary issues commonly faced by villagers.
The camp was conducted along with doctors and volunteers from Rotary Club Amethyst, Chennai.
The passionate students and potential leaders are on a mission to transform health!
No more frequent restaurant launch parties, food blogger meet-ups & city food walks. Yes, that's what a typical life at B-school is supposed to be but I'm not giving up on this passion so soon. Here's a glimpse of IIM Indore's mess food for you. Well, Sunday dinner is kind of fancy as per mess standards, hence you see that ice-cream cup along with noodles & chole bhature. But to be honest, the mess here serves quite a balanced diet with right proportion of vegetables, pulses, grains & fruits. You wouldn't find the epic Mess Dal without Dal here. Rather I find the mess food delicious, ofcourse not like your Maa ke haath ka khana but still way better than others.
Dedicating this post to the Mess staff who work day and night to feed us and go unnoticed majority of times. Everytime you stand in line waiting for the food and commenting about their inefficiency to deliver on time, just know that they want you to have fresh food like your mom who'd cook fresh hot chapatis for you. Finding someone's fault and complaining is easy but it takes heart to stop for a moment & appreciate others. So next time you come across any of the mess staff, stop for a while, thank them and just notice the satisfaction & happiness on their faces. It'd definitely be worth it !
