Starting a new week with a new fragrance, Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel eau de perfume from @moltonbrown. To visually describe the fragrance I headed out into the Surrey countryside to shoot something with a slightly more editorial feeling than usual. The background of rippling water and the warmth of the evening sunlight to me evokes similar feelings to the fragrance. It’s one I’ve been wearing as a daytime scent for the past couple of weeks and I would certainly recommend trying it out! #gifted#mbxme

The vice a person is struggling to overcome is caused by the undesirables he invited into himself and which he is now obliged to feed. Without realising it, by his deplorable behaviour, he has reinforced them to the degree of total domination of his mind. They have settled within him so as to exploit him and reduce him to slavery.
The most common denominator I see amongst all humans is the unawareness of the self inflicting damage directing their lives to become helpless victims of circumstance. You live most of your life spending the vast portion of it inside of your head and yet you still voluntarily choose to make your experience an uncomfortable and miserable one. Yes, every time you deny yourself of happiness, you are volunteering yourself for misery.
Your life is a reflection of what you hold inside you, and what we choose to hold inside, we attract externally. Every moment, every person and every circumstance is determined by what you hold inside of you. Yet what you hold inside of you is under your control.
The thoughts you think are a prophecy of what is yet to come. The feelings you feel are an indication of what energy will surround you. What you see of yourself, will be projected outward.
“All my thoughts are useless, they keep me from seeing the bright light”. Rumination and overthinking is the prerequisite for negative emotions and behaviours. The importance of recognising your thoughts without identifying with them is critical for peace. Become the awareness behind your thoughts and emotions. Observe how you react to your thoughts, observe how you feel. It is only in this state of awareness that we can allow them to pass by without judgement. By doing this, you are avoiding the stream of thoughts that follow, usually leading you to feel sadness. The same thoughts that distract you from the present moment as a result of you giving into the same thinking patterns.
Once we become the watcher, we can study our thoughts objectively without emotional interference. This state of awareness, turns your mind off autopilot and you become conscious of your thoughts which become easier to deny them of control over you.
You cannot control your thoughts, you can only stop letting them control you.
We each share a highly personal individual human experience completely contrasting and opposing of views and perspectives. While we all carry our baggage with us, chances are most people are struggling to operate from a place of empathy and project their unresolved insecurities and traumas onto others, revealing their character. Upon an encounter with another individual who is also carrying their baggage with them, it is in our best interest to be extremely discerning in how we interpret what others say. Communication is limiting, and words get lost in translation, especially during emotional displays. When someone triggers us, there is an opportunity for three great things: * Practice squandering the negative emotion you feel rise to master discipline over your emotions and feelings. No one holds the power to make you feel anything unless you allow them. * Figure out what it is within you that still requires healing buried beneath the trigger. It is often deep rooted and will usually reveal an insecurity about ourselves. * Send that individual on their way with avoided conflict and further damage to the both of you by abstaining taking anything personal and understanding that others opinions and judgements have absolutely nothing to do with you.
Pay attention. The outer world is always a reflection of the inner world. People’s perception of you, is a reflection of them; your response to them is an awareness of you.
