There are some days when you just wake up with the right ideas and the right amount of energy. Today was such a day. Presenting today's healthy breakfast.

Homemade taco's with a filling of egg whites, beans and cottage cheese and of course ginger lemon tea to wash it all down.
.
Super easy to make and a super tasty low carb breakfast option to suit our desi taste buds.
.
Ingredients - 3 egg whites, 100 gm cottage cheese or paneer, 100 gm beans, 100 gm onions, ginger garlic paste,olive oil, taco shells,coriander and chillies as per taste.

Method - Cut the beans into small pieces and boil with a pinch of salt and set aside after draining.
Cut the paneer into small pieces and sprinkle a little salt and pepper. Whisk 3 egg whites and diced onions, coriander and chillies nicely. Heat up the oil put a little ginger garlic paste and then add the beans. After 3 mins add the paneer and saute it nicely till it's brown. Add salt and pepper to taste. After it's done add the egg white into it and scramble it to perfection. Your filling is now ready. Oh yes,  I added a dash of haldi (turmeric) and laal mirch (chilli powder)  for the desi tadka,  and a generous sprinkle of fresh coriander.🤗

🥁 If you swipe to the very end of the pictures, you'll notice that I only had one thing to say about Mexican Society. "WOW"

I decided to come here with a friend after seeing such a positive review from a fellow foodie, and what can I say? Mexican Society did NOT disappoint!

Every dish from start to finish was just mouth-watering, delicious, full of flavour, and made me kept on wanting more!

You could tell the chefs knew what they were doing in the kitchen, especially when it came to plating the tacos. Tacos in general comprise of a lot of simple elements, but boy can I tell you that the tacos at Mexican Society will blow your socks off. The Barossa Valley pork belly, and I kid you not, was just melt-in-the-mouth, and that soft-shell crab? Crunchy on the outside, and meaty on the inside!

The 'Lime & Cilantro Chicken' plate was also to die for - mind-blowingly tender and juicy! I have nothing but good things to say for Mexican Society and the other dishes, but I do have one question: are your flour/corn tortillas made in-house?

Also, thankfully I managed to save their August menu and so listed down below is what was ordered 👇
