You don't owe anyone:
°your time, energy or love
°an explanation about how you live your life
°a response to their questions
°an apology when you arent sorry.
°insight into your private life .
°clarification of your beliefs
°elaboration of your feelings
Boundaries! We make time for who we want to make time for. We will talk to people when our energy allows us, and we won't feel guilty about it. You can't pour from an empty cup. We ourselves must always put ourselves at number 1 in order to help others. This is how self love works. No one is entitled to our energy and time. We make the rules!
Happy sunday. ✨
19. Nekrotronic (2018)
A man who discovers that he is part of a secret sect of magical beings who hunt down and destroy demons in the internet.
After a charmingly animated opening sequence that takes place thousands of years ago lays out all of the backstory about necromancers and demons you need to understand the movie, it then sets up that now in the modern, some individual found a way to blast demons inside the internet and now they can get you through your phone. If that doesn’t properly convey what kind of movie “Nekrotronic” is, this next sentence should. It’s a neon nightmare of nonsensical nonsense. It’s also incredibly fun! Ben O’ Toole plays a hapless loser, Howard, who through a series of convoluted events discovers that he is one of the last surviving members of a powerful line of Necromancers. He is then quickly recruited by Luther, played by David Wenham (300, Iron Fist) to join in the fight against Finnegan, the very culprit who found the way to put demons online. Not only has Finnegan herself become corrupted by the demons and is now a soul eater, but it is revealed that she is also Howard’s long thought dead mother. Finnegan is played by Monica Belluci (yes, the real Monica Belluci) and turns in a delightfully campy performance “Nekrotronic” is a very silly movie that’s stuffed to the muff with “cool” gunfights, crazy demon possessions that lead to more “cool” gunfights, unbelievably silly mythology, cartoonish gore, more “cool” gunfights, cheesy dialogue, and enough neon to make Nicolas Winding Refn cream his jeans.
