Back to School means Back to Schedules...so since your life will be less all over the place, JOIN ME!!! September is the “2nd New Years” anyway, right? So whatever your #nyr was in December- let’s work on nailing it! We still have 4 more months in this year to make it happen! Do you know what you can accomplish in 4 months! Anything you put your mind to!! It’s been about 2 weeks since we’ve gone back to school and I hope everyone is easing back into their new routine. My life has been super busy lately, and sticking to my usual schedule has been quite the challenge...but I’m a #noexcuses kind of girl, so I find ways to always #getitdone because I’ve still got #fitnessgoals to reach so the more accountability and motivation-the better! 💁🏻♀️🤣 “Believe you can and you’re halfway there” 🙌🏻 🧠 Mind

I guess it's because yesterday marked 9 years since I went on my really old, really slow, broken down computer and 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘱 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘊𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩.
We were 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞. We borrowed money from my parents. We paid minimum payments on our credit cards. We overdrew bank accounts. The worst is when my Mom would call me about overdrawing of a joint account we shared. While starting a family should be an exciting time in your life -- for us, terrifying.
Something inside of me clicked when I was pregnant with DJ. It had absolutely nothing to do with money or starting a business. 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐄.
I was done feeling gross. I was done hating my body. I was done feeling out of shape. I was done wearing size 12 jeans. I was done being dissapointed in myself. I was done being lazy. 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦.
So yes, at the time, we didn't have disposable income. Our house was in foreclosure and we always had more month at the end of our money.
But -- 𝐈𝐓
Because I mattered. My mental health mattered. My wellness mattered. How I felt each day about myself mattered. So I whipped out the credit card -- the one that had a little wiggle room -- and I bought Shakeology.
I didn't put all my hopes in this bag of powder. I made a bet on ME. I didn't drink it everyday saying -- you better work for me. I said, I better put in the work. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭 -- 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐌𝐘 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄.
It's so curious to me that I have this post-partum picture of right after DJ was born. It's like I already knew I was about to get to work. I already had projected the vision of what I was about to embark on.
In one year, I turned my who world upside down and inside out. I was smiling again, playing again, feeling incredible again. So pretty please, before you tell me, you can't afford this -- ask yourself, are you worth it? Because when you want something, you will move mountains to get it. 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸, 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺.
Happiness looks gorgeous on you. 💖
Anaerobic work sucks but need to increase 💥power💥 output. Lactic build up is real your legs fill well over pumped and it’s. not pleasant at all. A long 8min Rest in between the 4 sets of 55secs. The last set seems like 55 minutes 😂.
Also happy with a PB on my over head squat, one of my weaknesses through mobility restrictions 5kg up on my previous so I hit 86kgs. It was tight in terms of depth but @conorboden is God when it comes to OHS and gave me the green light and I’m taking it 😂
Also did clean & jerks with burpees.
