Meet Born and Bred Birmingham Actor Sipiwe Moyo @sipiwenyc , Adeola of @oitnb
Favorite Quote: “Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second's encounter with God and with eternity.” -Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

Favorite Childhood Memory: Vacations to the Bahamas and Destin with my family.

What do you like most about Alabama: The people...not when politics or bigotry are involved...but when people are just passing along and around eachother and sharing humanity.

What do you love about the South: The food and the folksiness. The warm hearts.

Favorite Place in Alabama: Downtown Birmingham...so many memories and so much history! All must visit the #birminghamcivilrightsinstitute #themagiccity

Favorite Place in the South: Well, there’s no place like New Orleans. The vibe (and food!) is one-of-a-kind!

Favorite Book by a Southern Author: I had a pretty horrifying time in a Southern Literature class in high school having to read the “N” word outloud too many times, so I’m going to have to have a rain check on this one as I heal that trauma 😘
Your Mentor: Elizabeth Mallonee Holcomb, my drama teacher at Indian Springs and my managers #DaleDavis (RIP🙏🏿) and #HarrisSpylios of #davisspyliosmanagement
What you wish you could tell your 20 year old self: Girl, you look good!!! Just maintain, relax, be calm and everything will work out for the best. Everything is going to be okay. And you CAN handle the stuff that’s not! #womenofalabama #sweethomealabama #adeola #oitnb #dblock #orangeforever #orangeisthenewblack #pousseywashingtonfund @oitnb @netflix #rolltide #wareagle #alabama @roywoodjr Thanks for this feature @womenofalabama!...I love telling people I’m from Alabama and then watching the look on their faces as I explain all that I love about my #sweethome. . ❤️🐘❤️◽️🧡 🦅 💙 (for you @rmills1202!) #repost @womenofalabama ...
