Gong Xi Fa Cai! 🎆
Welcome to the World's oldest Chinatown - Binondo!
Some may have known this but the Philippines is visited by many Chinese merchants even before the colonisation until the Spaniards came and erected the Chinese-Filipino district of Binondo during their era.
Aside from buying chinese medicines and Miscellaneous items, you can also enjoy native chinese food here in Binondo. Quite a good place to appreciate the Chinese-Filipino culture.
"It doesn't matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop." -Confucius
Earlier this year, i just visited Manila to see the newest Chinatown Arch standing with grandeur in Binondo. It sounds crazy but I played like a tourist in our own native country!
Another world record for the Philippines came in last 2015 when Manila unveiled the world's largest Chinatown Arch in Binondo. This was built as a symbol of Friendship between the Chinese and Filipinos and the Unity of the communities for centuries.
Happy Chinese New Year!
Keep Safe Everyone!
