Update everyone: I spent the last two weeks in the ICU at an emergency vet fighting a bad infection. It was really scary but they saved my life! I had the best doctors, surgeons and techs at @vrccvet that now I’m finally home and on the mend. Going to be a long recovery but mom said I’m gonna be super spoiled the whole time so sounds good to me!!!!!
Can I share an embarrassing secret? No, it's not that I'm just learning yoga.
It's the fact I honestly thought the secret key to losing the weight I struggled with for years was to work out really really hard. 🤦♀️
When I started working out more, yes I totally saw results, but it stalled out and I was stuck for a long time. So I thought I had to workout harder AND eat less too.
OH YIKES, I was so wrong.
I decided to become a personal trainer, to learn effective training so I could stop beating up my body and get me to where I wanted to be.
My goal was to help myself and other women really enjoy training so it would end all of our weight loss issues.
Well....I didn't really understand effective workouts by themselves are NOT the magic solution to this problem.
I soon realized nutrition and mindset to support it all is needed too. 🍎🥦🥚 So I went back to school for that too.
And years later I finally found all the pieces and put them together.
I have been exploring all different areas of health and wellness for years and have taken pieces and put them together to find my best solution.
Let's chat yoga for a second. If you're a yogi, I totally appologize for butchering this pose. 😳
It's called warrior II and and learning to take time out each week for me to just be still and calm down for a bit.
It was actually understanding mindset and habits that finally brought my search full circle.
The why we do things like take action or not and what really helps you stay motivated and moving forward vs being stuck.
I still love working out, actually even more now that I don't over do it.
I'm grateful I decided to explore life coaching to help me navigate all the areas that actually ended my very long struggle with over training, under eating and being pretty awful and mean to myself.
I learned you don't have to be miserable to reach your goals.
Funny, what I would have totally fluffed off mindset as woo-woo wackado stuff years ago and it was THE missing part that unlocked everything for me.
I’ve learned so much and I love to teach all these tools to my clients.
Have you tried something new to help you
