DAY TWENTY-ONE: THE BEGINNING OF SEPARATION
Romans 8:19 | TPT
“The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters!”
We are believing that day is coming. The day when the entire world can’t help but stand in anticipation for what God is doing through His sons and daughters. When we begin to separate ourselves from the world and reject societal norms and embrace the call that God has placed upon our lives. As we begin to live within that day, our light will shine out so bright that the would will not be able to deny that God is the ONE TRUE GOD.
ARE YOU READY FOR TOMORROW?!
DAY TWENTY: FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT
Galatians 5:22-23 | TPT
“But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied
joy that overflows,
peace that subdues,
patience that endures,
kindness in action,
a life full of virtue,
faith that prevails,
gentleness of heart,
and strength of spirit.
Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.”
As we continue these 21 days of prayer, what fruits of the spirit do you need to grow in? Pray and ask God to grow you in that specific area. We are called to be sons and daughters walking in joy, peace, patience, kindness, virtue, faith, gentleness and strength.
DAY EIGHTEEN: RIGHTEOUSNESS
2 Corinthians 5:21 | ESV “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
I LOVE THIS VERSE! It talks about how He made it possible for reconciliation between us and Him. But the key is understanding that the righteousness does not come from us, and comes from God. And because of that, we walk in the free gift given to us. We walk in righteousness, not to look down on others, but to raise them up and point them to the same free gift of righteousness.
DAY SEVENTEEN: PEACE
Romans 5:1 | NIV
“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Faith is not just believing in God, but also believing His promises. If you have faith in God, you can stand firm knowing that through anything you are promised peace.
DAY SIXTEEN: CREATION
Job 38:4 | NIV
"Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand."
Did you know that you can find parts of the creation story in the book of Job? Most people only think of Job as a story about suffering, but it's actually so much more! In the final chapters, you see God asking Job questions around how creation took place. It amazes me how God can show the beauty of creation through a story of suffering. God wants to do the same with your life. He wants to take the things broken things and re-create them into beauty.
DAY FIFTEEN: FACE TO FACE
1 Corinthians 13:12 | NIV
“For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.”
Every person on earth only knows in part. What has God entrusted you to know and see?
DAY FOURTEEN: MADE HOLY
Romans 12:1-2 | NIV
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
How do you discern God's will for your life [or] How are we made holy?
DAY ELEVEN: GOD’S WHISPER
Romans 8:16 | TPT3
“For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!””
In a world where we are constantly blasted with information and opinions, how do we position ourselves to hear this whisper? How do we truly remember that we are God’s beloved child? Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal this truth to you today in a new way. The Word tells us that The Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us. When we ask, He will whisper to our innermost being.
DAY EIGHT: SET YOUR MIND
Romans 8:6 | ESV
“For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.”
Where are you allowing your understanding of the world to steal the life and peace that God has set apart specifically for you? Always have your eyes and mind fixed on the things of God. Wherever your gaze is fixed, that is where your heart will veer too.
DAY SIX: WONDERFULLY MADE
Psalm 139:14 | NIV
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made”
The Creator of the universe took the time to not only create you with His hands, but to make you fearfully and wonderfully. By these words, we are set apart from all of God’s other creations. The Lord of ALL sees you and knows you as his wonderful creation. Let us praise Him, the one who knows the very depth of our being and loves us evermore.
Do you believe that you are made wonderfully and in the image of God? Speak that truth over yourself today.
DAY TWO: FEAR OF GOD
Proverbs 14:26 | ESV
“In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence . . .”
It's amazing the difference between healthy fear and unhealthy fear. Unhealthy fear will make you feel unsure of yourself and timid. When you fear God, you don’t become timid or scared... you become confident. When you fear God, you aren’t afraid OF Him, you are afraid to be away from Him. It stems from a deeply rooted love for Him and confidence in His love for us. Are there any areas in your life that you need to apply the fear of God to? Areas that you need to remind yourself that He is so much bigger than whatever you are facing?
Over the past few weeks we have been hyping up what is coming in January.
We know that in order for it to succeed, it will take more than just us. This is where YOU come in. We would like to invite you to join us in 21 days of prayer leading up to the launch of what is coming in January. We challenge you to pray with us for our generation over the next 21 days. Everyday, starting Monday, we will post a verse and question that will challenge you to dig deeper.
We believe that just a few minutes of prayer can shake the world. Share this call to prayer with your friends and maybe even pray together. We know that as we join together in prayer, we will see God move!
