The Finch has flown the nest... The Finch Foundation is a mental health organisation who cares about people and communities far and wide. We exist to help people and save lives. We have produced a book called ‘LIGHT’ which is a beautifully illustrated story book that helps people to understand what anxiety and depression is, how it can present itself as well as educating people on helpful habits that can be tried, learnt, and practiced to help anyone with their mental health. The book has been written based on lived experience with anxiety and depression. It contains a mental health toolkit which provides places to turn for help, useful mediation apps and suggested reading material.

We moms never have time for self care , & that leads to doing everything & anything which is possible for our skin at home in lesser time !
At salon a facial can take up to 2 hrs & at home we finish it in simple 2 steps in only an hour...which consists of cleansing & scrubbing
So today, I am going to show you one effective scrub which I Swear by!
As , I have sensitive skin I can’t really use any scrub from market..! As the hard particles itches a lot on my skin & I end up having rashes but when used this kashmiri Walnut scrub by @organixmantra , it completely changed my definition of scrub..when we say Scrub the thing which first come in our mind is crushing the particles over our skin..which are harsh onus! But for a change @organixmantra has came up with gel based ..really small & fine particulates face & body scrub that not only cleanses all the dirt & dead-skin out but also leaves your skin radiant & smooth not itchy itchy!
Talking about ingredients it consist of aloe Vera gel , tea tree oil ,Kashmiri walnut vitamin c & vitamin E which hydrates your skin, halts the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles ,the gel also restores the natural elasticity of skin..with our making your skin dead & dry !
I’ll recommend a patch test ..for sensitive skins & yeah.. you can surely give it a try
This is a completely natural way to ensure beauty inside out.
You can get it @amazondotin or directly contact them @organixmantra .
What is Infrared Sauna Therapy and what does it do? 🤷♀️🔥
Infrared light is the safe and invisible part of the sun's spectrum which provides heat to the body's tissues and cells. Unlike it's counterpart (harmful) UV light, Infared light doesn't cause any burn to your skin. 🥵
Far spectrum infared light goes deep into the inner layers of the your skin; reaching your muscles and bones. Infrared light is absorbed by the photoreceptors in your cells, enabling a metabolic reaction which promotes healing at a cellular level. 💫
Did you know Infared Sauna Therapy can:
🔥 provide relief to people suffering from painful conditions such as: arthritis and other joint conditions, fibromyalgia, as well as chronic fatigue syndrome.
🔥 the circulation of oxygen rich blood is improved, thus resulting in cell repair and regeneration, reduction of inflammation, detoxification and skin purification. 🔥 can burn up to 500 calories in a session, therefore aiding in a faster metabolism.
🔥 increases the body's white blood cell production which assists in boosting your immune system. .

A new mural I saw last Friday, to accompany thoughts on letting ourselves shine.
These days I’m working with students on giving specific words to their strengths and weaknesses, for the sake of describing themselves on college applications. For a lot of adolescents, it’s much easier to self-deprecate than to name good qualities. Yet even from spending a few hours with them, I notice their kind hearts, their eagerness to learn, the kinds of things youth have in spades. This makes me think that the same irony sometimes occurs in adults. We may work hard behind the scenes, but seldom give ourselves credit for the inherent goodness that others appreciate.
I’m not saying people should suddenly go around singing their own praises, but I wonder what we overly modest folks could do to cultivate a healthier self-image. How can we think of ourselves with the same compassion we extend to others?
For me, it helps to talk with friends and family. In the course of everyday conversation, I can open up and feel appreciated despite my vulnerabilities. Giving and receiving unconditional affection are underrated yet immensely healing acts.
What helps you build self-esteem? I’m genuinely curious.
PS: thanks again for a great Japan Market – looking forward to this weekend at Nikkei with @sleepyfroggy and then focusing on online sales for the rest of the holiday season!
“To be a man of less anxiety, I had to be a man of more words” - Movember.
This Movember, we’re supporting the Movemeber movement by donating $2 from every ‘Ruled Classic Notebook’ to the campaign tackling prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
At Resilience Agenda, we believe in promoting better mental wellbeing by treating our mental health as we would our physical health and taking on a proactive ‘fitness’ regime to strengthen our mindset and ability to reach out and bounce back when life’s inevitable challenges occur. We know, at times, this can be tough… which is why we want to get behind the Movember campaign.
Our Ruled Classic Notebooks are designed to give ourselves a space to ‘get things out’. This Movember, we would like to extend them as an option for our guys to journal and be able to get their head around their thoughts and feelings. We know it can be nerve-wracking to speak about the challenges we face - especially for the men in today’s culture. We hope our notebooks can provide some clarity within ourselves so we can feel more comfortable and open in these important conversations around men’s health.
The immense power and beauty of sisterhood.
In coaching and in circle we co-create safe, sacred space for each other to feel safe enough to share our authentic selves, the real, truthful, vulnerable you.
Why is this important? So that we can drop the charade of being “fine” all the time and reconnect to our emotions and bodies. To acknowledge our truthful feelings and experiences, and let them move through us.
It’s a totally non-judgmental space, being in circle. Whether a circle of many, or a coaching circle of 2, it’s a sacred space where you’re welcome to be your whole self, not just your best self. One where you can find love, empathy, compassion, support, and guidance if you seek it. Connection to other like-minded, heart-centred soulful women. Where our feminine energy is cultivated, and egos stay outside the door.
In this way we support each other to rise, to feel empowered to be our authentic selves and share our truths. To acknowledge each other’s highs and lows. All we ever want as humans is to be acknowledged and received just as we are, right? This is the safety and intimacy of the space I create in coaching and circle. You’ll arrive with the weight of the day beside you, and leave feeling lighter, love-filled, reenergised, connected to your soul, and to the souls who stand with you.
Sisterhood is so special and so necessary. We’re hard-wired for connection, we don’t have to do life alone. Don’t be afraid to take up the space you deserve - you don’t need to hide your feelings, experiences or gifts anymore. Let’s help each other feel safe to be seen and to love our whole selves. What an honour it is to hold this space for you and to do this important work.
I wrote this in my journal yesterday after I got off Skype with my therapist back in Melbourne. I had this stretch of time for a few hours yesterday where I felt really hopeful about my future and about my ability to get past the pain of this breakup. ⠀
I don’t feel that way today. Those are the motions of this kind of loss. To have been loved, and protected, and cherished by someone and to try your hardest to give all the same back to them is a wonderful experience. It’s also a gut wrenching, world ending kind of feeling when you have to move yourself away from that. Find new places to put the most vulnerable parts of you, the parts most damaged or least loved by your own heart. ⠀
But I believe, in some small, quiet corner of my current state that hope is the truest thing to believe in. Despite everything, no matter how thundered down we become by life, hope comes back for us. I have survived in my life more than one thing I thought I could never get past, never make it back from. ⠀
This hurts because it mattered and still matters and because falling out of love is a process of unstitching someone else’s life from your soul. It is unmaking all those plans you had for your future. It is redrawing maps for where your life will go. It is having every beautiful thing you shared flash before your eyes and then fade as it becomes only a memory. Not something you can feel or have with that person again. ⠀
It is hard to feel hopeful when you are at your lowest but it is possible. Fall back on the people who love you, who care about you, who can help keep you safe. ⠀
PS - I want to be able to make non break up related content! I know it’s not why most of you are here! And I am sure with due time I will get back on that horse, but right now it’s sort of all I can think about so I hope you’ll be patient with me. ⠀
What do you want in your life? What do you dream off? ☀️ In case you don’t know that start with what are you tired off? When you’re dreams get more and more clear and you feed them constantly with love, you can take steps to make them become real. And give every miracle a chance to happen ☀️ because you can’t imagine everything what could happen to bring them@into reality 🌱🍀🐛🦋💚 #morningmeditation#selfcare#dreams#gratitude#plans#gurulove
Happy Wednesday ! Self care or self empowerment is not only about the good you do for yourself but also the good you do for others. We all go through battles with the good and bad days, so it's important to not hide the real you from people who are willing to hear your cries, fears, insecurities, shame, happiness and sucess with no judgement or envy. At some point we must learn to all seek out a form of Self Remedy. Learning more about yourself is also allowing yourself to build a village of supporters. One life = A series of uncontrollable situation. So embrace it and find your tribe of people who love you for you. .
