Somewhere near lake Lucerne. Saturday. A moody evening. It‘s 8 p.m. and me and a friend are walking up a mountain to watch the sunset. It‘s a cold day in February and you can feel the cold breeze on the skin even tho we both have warm jackets on. We‘re walking on a rail line which looks abandone when suddenly we hear a noise. We cannot see anything because of the fog. After some seconds we finally spot the light of the cablecar and we instantly jump to the side. Noone except the driver is in there but most importantly: Where is it going to?
We don’t inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children 🌍
I encountered that proverb today and it really resonated with me. Makes you think, especially if you have children and grandchildren. We really should consider how our current actions will affect this beautiful planet of ours and the future generations who will live on it. Right now our lungs are burning and that should worry us all #prayforamazonia 💚
