Don’t call it a dream call it a plan. . . .
I’ve always loved the beauty industry and I knew that I had a creative eye for this industry. A talent that I could use to become my own boss. This is where my own dream came about, as I would close my eyes and just imagine myself making the people who came to my salon feel and look beautiful. However, I knew that to turn my dream into reality, I had to make a plan. So, I signed up for courses in nail and beauty, and I found that I was better at practical than theory. But, instead of letting this hinder me, I just worked 10 times harder on the areas I struggled with until it became my strength, and I was able to leave school with my qualifications.
However, my journey didn’t stop there, as I had my qualifications but no experience. This is where the next step in my plan took place, and so I spent the next two years working and improving my skills. Until I was ready to take the leap and open my own business. And let me tell you, I went through so many obstacles and challenges on this new journey, that included struggling to find the money to keep the place open. And the most challenging of all, managing people. But I overcame this obstacle by adding more tasks to my plan; and with this plan and the support of my family, I was able to find my own way, leading to me running a successful business for 11 years and becoming a better boss.
This was my first dream, my second dream is becoming a social influencer so that I can share my expertise, my experience, and my knowledge with you guys.
And my advice to you is to get up and make a plan of action.
A. What are you passionate about?
B. How do you plan to get there?

Just a touch of glitter - honestly I love playing with glitter but it’s such a pain to photograph especially this kind that looks orange or gold or red depending on the way the light reflects! I’m hoping once I edit the video tutorial it’ll look better there 😍

“You won't get that far Wastin' your breath on somebody else You need to check yourself... ain't got shit to prove Well, maybe to me, but never to you And don't you ever hit my phone talkin' 'bout no competition And this ain't bein' cocky, I just never wanna listen ‘Cause I'm too busy focused on my own shit I'm on that "Who the fuck came for the throne?" shit I'm on that zone shit... Now if I had a dollar every time someone outside of my shoes Told me how to step in mine, I'd be jumpin' in a pile You should take some of that energy, apply it to yourself...” 🖤🎤
