  • Our avid mountain biker client, @emills117 needed only the absolute essentials in his 2017 Mercedes Sprinter, so we custom designed and built every inch of space with his passions, functional and leisurely needs in mind, such as:⠀
⠀
- a custom bed setup that sits on top of a full pull-out bike shop
- a Webasto diesel cook-top, water heater, cabin heater & fridge
- a @sonos sound system and interior projector for movie nights⠀

  • Hey guys 🌻🌻 As usual i havent posted in a while but sending so much LOVE to all the people out there following and motivating us on our journey in converting @ourmercedesbus into our dream home on wheels 🚌🤟🏼 There really hasnt been much too update you all on just yet as we have been insanely committed into saving and have been working hard doing mostly 6 days a week 🤪
We plan to start a lot of work on the bus in January 2020 and Have been manifesting this date for some time now 🧘🏼‍♀️ 🌚
Our first step will be to remove and replace any rust, then dropping the seat risers to level the floor (we decided to do this to make more headroom for the shower clearance ect) then flooring/walls and insulation 🤪 bet it’s sounds easier then it will actually be! But slowly and surely we are getting there 💛
I decided to start this page early too keep us motivated and inspired along the way! We love seeing our feed and what everyone else is doing 🚌🧡 thanks for following as we embark on our massive journey🌈

  • We are SUPER excited to be making 2 big announcements today! This business has certainly been an evolution over the past 2 years, and we are soooo stoked about the future!
.
Announcement #1:
We are now “Rafter B Tiny Homes and Small Spaces”. What exactly does this mean? Well, we are still a full-blown Tiny Home builder. In addition to Tiny Homes, we are now adding some site-built services to our menu! : ) For a couple years now, we have been so focused on Tiny Homes on wheels, and we have been turning away business that, in hindsight, we should have been saying “yes” to. We are now saying “yes” to a select few types of shop-built and site-built construction that are congruent with our existing Tiny Home business model: Tiny Homes on skids or concrete foundations, hunting cabins, container homes, portable restrooms, granny flats, party barns, outdoor entertainment areas, man caves / she-sheds, and backyard cottages.
.
Announcement #2:
At the same time we are rebranding, we are also SUPER excited to announce that we just purchased a 3 acre commercial property on Highway 377 in Bluff Dale, TX. If you drive through Bluff Dale on the route between Granbury and Stephenville, there’s no way you’ll miss our sign. : ) This property doubles our amount of shop space and gives us the road frontage exposure we’ve been looking for. The property will also allow us to do some really fun stuff with Tiny Homes and/or RV’s.
.
These 2 big announcements have been many months of hard work and patience. Yesterday, our dream came true of owning a property on a high traffic road. We will still use the shop at JJ and Lacy’s Ranch as an overflow work area. And our Tiny Home Retreat on the Ranch is still rockin’ and rollin’ where people can reserve a stay on the Ranch through Airbnb.
.
If you’re ever in the area, we’d LOVE for you to stop by either facility for a visit!
.
A HUGE thanks to everyone who has supported us in this journey to get us this far, especially our beautiful wives who put up with our crazy. • Who else is currently braving the freeze while on the road? ❄️⠀
⠀
#ThrowbackThursday to when our client, @emills117 had his Mercedes Benz Sprinter snowed in some time in Early February. He initially reached out to us to build out his van interior to support his passions for mountain biking and snowboarding and to be able to withstand a wide variety of temperatures during travel.⠀
⠀
2 summers and 24K miles later, his van's still going strong. Stay tuned for more details on the interior build coming your way.
