“The Day The Vice President Visited My Place Of Work” - A Poorly Photographed Picture Story As Viewed From The Windows Of The Receiving Department.
Pictures 1 and 2: Under the watchful eye of the Secret Service and the roof snipers, the arrival of the Vice President is highly anticipated by all in attendance.
Pictures 3, 4 and 5: The Vice President’s arrival is preceded by a massively long escort of motorcycle cops.
Pictures 6 and 7: The Vice President’s vehicle finally arrives. There were two vehicles with little American flags on them, and the Vice President was definitely in one of them.
Picture 8: The shuttle vans, containing those always ravenous members of the press were not far behind.
Picture 9: Ambulances arrived, presumably for the purpose of treating any wounded, caused by riots, protests, or assassination attempts.
And finally, Picture 10: I believe the blurry gray haired splotch is the Vice President, entering the building, where he would give his momentous speech to an audience of eager listeners, made up of local politicians and privileged employees, which did not include me, the lowly warehouse worker, who could only take photos from a nearby window. And that concludes the story of my day today. Hopefully, I don’t end up in a federal penitentiary for posting these photos. Anyway, how was your day?
