Sunsets on Earth have a red, orange or golden color because the sunlight passes through so much atmosphere as it comes over the horizon that all the blue light gets scattered away.

On Mars, while the sky is red during the day, the sunset is blue. The reason for this is that the dust particles always make a blue halo around the sun on Mars, but the halo is only easy to see when the light passes through all the dust while coming over the horizon.

Aurora on Earth usually shine for a few hours at most. Aurora on Saturn can last for days! These "curtains of light" sometimes rise 1,200 miles (2,000 km) above the cloud tops near Saturn's poles. If you were on Saturn, the aurora would look like a faint red glow. Most of the energy in Saturn's aurora is not in the form of visible light, though. Instead, they mostly glow in ultraviolet (UV) wavelengths.

A couple of weekends ago @jrodcaptures and I were chasing the milkyway on our first night at mount buffalo, driving around dodging wombats and freezing our butts off.
