Recipe by @miss_gruenkern ✨
1½ lb yellow or red baby potatoes
olive oil (just enough to coat)
large pinch of ground black pepper
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp lemon juice
1 tsp dried thyme
2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions ✅ 
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Wash potatoes and cut into halves.
Place in a bowl, toss with salt, thyme, garlic, lemon juice, oregano and pepper.
Bake for 25 minutes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Remove from oven, rearrange potatoes and bake for another 5-10 minutes, until they're golden brown and crisp.

Roasted Mushrooms
2 pounds (900g) button or cremini mushrooms, washed, trimmed, and quartered
1/4 cup (60ml) extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
8 to 12 sprigs thyme or rosemary
2 tablespoons chopped parsley, chives, tarragon, or other fresh herbs

Directions
1.Adjust oven rack to center position and preheat oven to 375°F. Toss mushrooms with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet and spread into an even layer. Spread thyme or rosemary sprigs on top of mushrooms. Transfer to oven and roast until mushrooms release liquid, about 15 minutes. 
2.Return mushrooms to oven and continue roasting until browned but still tender, about 30 minutes longer. Discard thyme or rosemary. Transfer to a bowl and toss with parsley, chives, or tarragon. Finally made it to @blazepizza for the first time and had a good experience. Everyone was very nice. A+. I chose the Build Your Own($8.45) with the original dough, classic red sauce, double vegan cheese, double vegan spicy chorizo, olives, mushrooms, artichokes, roasted garlic and a dash of oregano. After it was baked, finished it off with baby arugula. I have to say the Spicy Chorizo has a good amount of A LOT of heat!🔥😂 I like that things are marked vegan and that they are a strawless establishment! 👏

👨‍🍳 INGREDIENTES
◾1/2 mandioca hervida y hecha puré (200 gr.)
◾200 grs. de harina de maíz fina (no es polenta)
◾300 grs. de fécula o almidón de mandioca
◾3 grs. de levadura seca
◾3 cdas. de aceite de coco sólido o de margarina vegetal
◾350 cc. de agua o leche vegetal
◾3 cdas. de levadura nutricional sabor queso
◾1/2 cdita. de anís en polvo
◾2 cditas. de sal marina
◾Ingrediente secreto: Agregale queso provoleta @felices_las_vacas
👨‍🍳 PASO A PASO
1. Mezclar por un lado el puré de mandioca, la leche vegetal y el aceite de coco.
2. En otro recipiente, mezclar las harinas, la sal, la levadura seca, la levadura nutricional, el polvo de anís y el queso.
3. Incorporar los sólidos a los húmedos y formar una masa. Queda una masa muy suave.
4. Amasar unos minutos y formar bolitas del tamaño deseado. Sticky barbeque seitan brisket with melted vegan cheese, pickles, carrot slaw and American mustard in a blueberry bun, with crispy potatoes and cheese sauce. Matched with Garage Project Golden Path - Juicy Session Hazy IPA.

I had this meal with one of the least vegan people I know, my good fried Rhys, who on the way to this address argued with some conviction that vegan milk and cheese is not milk and cheese. BTW he was not the person abusing Sweet Release staff couple weeks before.

Service here at midday Tuesday was quick and friendly but there was a bit of a wait for the food, enough time to comment between ourselves for the delay. 
The very first of your senses that is ticked is sight; these buns are amazingly blue and the photos try their best to capture this but cannot convey the "wow factor". The buns are coloured with butterfly pea rather than blueberries (an earlier unsuccessful attempt that made the buns purple) and dusted with fine granules.

The seitan spices are the centre of this meal, a little bit hot in spice and temperature, the seitan was a little tough to chew through. The pickle and cheese help immensely with this taste.

The dominant taste beyond the seitan is American mustard; another burger for the mustard lover in your life. The carrot slaw is predominantly fried and works well with the heavy load of mustard it has to carry along.

The potato chips were great and fantastic, cooked at least twice for the extra crunch. The cheese sauce, like the nacho cheese I had at Basque, is difficult to believe that it is dairy-free.

I missed out on The Botanist last year and I'm glad I got the chance to be there this year. This was an excellent burger and is one of Wellington's top vegan choices, if not the best in a still-sml pond.

Price: $22, with beer $31
Score: 8/10, like my review at Basque, great for fat vegans and good for thin vegans who want to stuff themselves with a feed.

The seitan spices are the centre of this meal, a little bit hot in spice and temperature, the seitan was a little tough to chew through. The pickle and cheese help immensely with this taste. The dominant taste beyond the seitan is American mustard; another burger for the mustard lover in your life. The carrot slaw is predominantly fried and works well with the heavy load of mustard it has to carry along. The potato chips were great and fantastic, cooked at least twice for the extra crunch. The cheese sauce, like the nacho cheese I had at Basque, is difficult to believe that it is dairy-free. I missed out on The Botanist last year and I'm glad I got the chance to be there this year. This was an excellent burger and is one of Wellington's top vegan choices, if not the best in a still-sml pond.
