This is me. At 45, I ran my first 10K. I finished in roughly 72 minutes. No one made me run. As a matter of fact, I asked my best friend to run with me. I wanted an end of summer goal, and I achieved it. My goal was to finish in 76 minutes. I did it! A couple of weeks before the run, I also achieved and fell below my goal weight. I am the same height and weigh less than I did as a senior in high school. And I’m not done working on myself. This is just the beginning.

Few days late but lost a pound on monday(which I’m really happy with considering the Sunday dinner out and the amount of ice cream I ate at the weekend)! Had chilli, Rice, boats, jalapeños and yoghurt with a bit of salad for tea last night 😋
So I’m currently reading #girlstopapologizing (and listening to it too for good measure) and @msrachelhollis tell us to “Go All In” on a goal so that’s exactly what I’m doing. I need something to kickstart me food-wise as I keep getting complacent so going to do a week of #52diet to see how that goes. I already joined a beginners running club (for anyone who knows me, that will sound hilarious!) so making sure I stick with that and do my “homework” from there and I’m carrying on with my #5tothrive while I wait for my #starttodayjournal (which I can’t wait for!!). This season is going to be my best. Business is going amazingly well, I’m off for more training and a conference which I can’t wait for (so 2 night’s child free!!) so now it’s time to believe I’m healthy and happy with my body shape and hopefully soon I will be!! #beingmybestself#goingallin#runfit#c25k#personalgrowthjourney#weightloss#healthyeating#timetofeelgoodagain
