I used to be really into photography but I’ve thrown it by the wayside over this last year- not sure why... maybe I have too many hobbies on my plate. These two pics are of Green Island Lighthouse -two different focus points. Which one do you like better? I always enjoy using a narrow depth of field- here I’m peeking through the thick grass to get an unusual shot of the station and the narrow depth of field I hope better conveys the ‘feeling’ of being there in that grass... #lighthouse
Full time employee, mom of two, wife, sister, aunty, friend, niece, daughter, the endless chores & to-do's, birthdays, holidays, meetings, deadlines, appointments, anniversaries.... wait! did I say MOM and wife?? WHERE DO YOU FIND THE TIME??!! HOWWWW??!! Well let me tell you.... uhmmm JK😆 I have zero clue!! You just do, just like you find time for everything else in life, YOU JUST DO! You make it work!
Just as bad as you want the best for your kids and all those around you that you love...you.make. time!! even when all you wanna do is see the back of your eyelids after a long day! You make time for things important to you!
Making yourself a priority is not selfish (I used to think this: There's so many OTHER things I could or should be doing right now, YEP I know)! If anything... this "selfish" act ACTUALLY helps you be a better version of you and ACTUALLY helps you get things done even more efficiently and effectively! Better attitude and all!!! All because you filled your cup up doing what makes YOU happy... ALWAYS fill YOUR cup, that's just as important as everything else is in your life... like your sanity (mom's we all need that!)😅
SOOOO get that work out in! Yes! Go get that massage, get them nails done, meditate, just goooo already, do it!! Then, when you're done... everything else that you neeeeed to get done, like work, meals and homework and baths and meetings and yard work and alllll the things!!!! Well... you'll get it done too, just like you always do!! An hr or 2 for you isn't gonna hurt no one! (There's 24hr in a day!)
Stay encouraged, stay focus, step outta your comfort zone and do something different every day!!! Make yourself a priority! Lift heavier! Go hard!! That feeling after a good workout, mannnn😁
